Doing It Right
An absolutely first rate stay at a first rate hotel. Perhaps the most outstanding feature is the ability of the staff to make everyone feel completely comfortable. I am unfortunately not in the habit of staying in hotels in this price range on a regular basis but as a special treat it was well worth it. Whether dining in the Savoy Grill, having cocktails in the American Bar or simply being shown to our room, the staff made my wife and I feel completely at home. I may have to wait for the kids to graduate from college before I go again but I know that I will be looking forward to it.

Treated Like A Queen
From the moment we arrived until my sister and I left, we were handled in the most professional and caring way. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. the aura of the hotel is very rich and deeply historic. Hope to make our way back to London in the near future. Thank you.

Savoy very nice
Beautiful renovated stately hotel. Still ironing out some re-opening kinks but it is a spectacular renovation and has great promise for luxury travel. Spacious rooms for London, very comfortable beds, heated bathroom tiled floor, great showers and bathtub. Wonderful location on the historic Strand, near theatre district--short walk to all transportation--Charing Cross and Convent Garden tube stops, key bus stops, plus entertainment center. Note that when you pull into the drive, they pull in on the right side and apparently the only hotel in London with a right side drive. According to the doorman (who was wonderful), Queen Victoria rode on the right side of her carriage so they permanently changed the entrance to accommodate her.
