The unhappy traveller
Avoid for the time being
The room was the middle of a building site. The hotel should be closed until the work is finished. Three showers and three toilets between about 20 rooms and in my case one floor up. Couldn't wait to leave.

Didn't expect much... wasn't disappointed.
Staff was very accomodating. Bed / Sink / TV was all I needed. Bath/Shower room was always clean. Breakfast was nothing to speak of.

Small rooms with shared bathrooms
Old hotel with small rooms and external/shared bathroom (we had to walk to the other end of the hall to get to the bathroom). Besides the decent location of the hotel, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

Unhappy camper14
Community bathroom and no free wifi
The hotel room was tiny, probably 8ftx8ft. The bathrooms were communal... only 1 per gender per floor. There's also no bathroom. Great location but the hotel sucks. Don't be fooled by the wifi offer, it's expensive to use!

Good hotel at Cheap Price
I stayed in this hotel in June & found it great. It's a basic 2 star hotel in a fantastic location but come on what do you expect for the price. The facilities are basic but the place is clean, and the staff were welcoming. We stayed on the second floor & while the hallway was really overly warm the room itself was fine. The shared bathroom had obviously been recently renovated (the ground floor ones weren't as nice) but all in all a good hotel 10 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace & Victoria Station.

Wicked The Musical is just a short 10 minute walk away at the Apollo Theatre across from Victoria Rail Station. An absolutely amazing show & well worth the view. We bought our tickets on the day from the box office cheaper than online so worth calling in to check.

Hostel style Hotel
Although this hotel is very old, the rooms were clean and the location was great. The bathrooms aren't located in the rooms, however, they are remodeled and kept very clean.

It was only one night
I've never stayed at a place that did not have a bathroom in the room...the women's was all the way down the hall with noise floors so I'm sure I woke people up when I had to walk to the bathroom. Windows did not keep cold air or traffic noise out. When the people in the next room would open their door it would slightly open ours. Thank goodness it was for only one night.

Overall the hotel is good for it's value. Pro: 1. Good values for the price 2. Breakfast included 3. Bathrooms and showers are extremely clean 4. 10-15 min walk to Victoria 5. Safe and quiet Con: 1. No Elevator 2. Have to pay for internet and no wireless (If you must use your personal laptop for internet access, then you have to go next door hotel) Bottom line: It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel, so don't expect too much, but you will get everything basic that you need from there. It's decent if you need a place to sleep for a night or two. People who lives in the hotels are pretty nice, too. I made quiet few friends during my stay there.
