thustle is good!!!
It was awesome staying at this hotel but they really need to offer free internet access not 130mins for 6gbp and 10 gbp for 24hrs Customers deserve free internet access

Not soo good
thistle claim free internet access but have non. I have to pay 6pounds which is almost 12usd. I now want another hotel to lodge tomorrow nite but doubt what they put on thir website. is not fair to customers.

Poor hotel
This is a poor hotel. No tea/coffee in rooms, very tired decor with generally a look that nothing is clean. Even transfers are not that convenient unless going to T5.

It was fine, nothing special. The hotel is aged but ok, the rooms and services solid but not spectacular. It was relatively inexpensive compared to other LHR hotels.

This is a nice hotel, but it is difficult to find in the dark - and I have lived in W London all my life!. They need proper signage from the Bath Road, otherwise people end up on the Colnbrook By Pass. This hotel also has a restaurant with a fantastic view facing onto the run way at Heathrow - interesting ever moving picture of planes arriving and leaving. Would stay here again. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extra but good food.

Hotel Thistle
My sister and I was in the area on vacation. The hotel was ok ,basic.The rooms were small,but clean.The staff were very friendly. The room was cleaned every day.There was plenty of towels.I loved the fact that men were the maids.They really done a good job of keeping the room for men ! Way to go Guys !!I have to mention the hair dryer.First of all, I was glad to have one as my American HD would not have worked electrically... and I didn`t want to purchase one, .Anyway,the hair dryer was connected to the dresser drawer. That made drying your hair a little difficult as the lighting was poor and the hair dryer cord was short, had to stoop to dry hair.Best to fix the hair dryer to the bathroom interier."Better lighting in there"..With that said...The place ,for the "internet booking price was well worth it.It was rite next to a bus stop. The bus 423 was free and ran to the airport,which made London and other areas of interest easy to access..Of course they had "Hoppa" buses that came to the hotel{ the front door} for your conveiance.That was great!{4 GBP to go to Heathrow}..All in all, I would stay again. Not bad for the price. Need to "lower" the rate for internet access..Way to high for something that they have already..Also, the coffee or tea should be avalable in the lobby for free,at all times.That would be really nice...

Short walk from hotel
To the bus stop was a short walk.Take a right out of their parking lot. .Also, Mcdonalds is just a few min. walk.Go to your right,out of the parking lot, then down on the left !!Have your breakfast there.It was always fresh,the service was good and the coffee was wanderful ! Enjoy your trip.

Stay anywhere but here!!
This is an extremely dirty, run down hotel. Every surface in our room was sticky and there was dried fluid of unknow origin stuck to the walls in the bathroom. We went to the restaurant just to escape our nightmare of a room. The food was actually not bad. I wish I could have slept in the dining room. All I can say is that I got a cold 2 days after staying there and assumed I caught it in the motel. On a postitve note, it was actually pretty quiet for an extremely crowded airport motel.

The Thistle is ideal as a transit
The Thistle is ideal as a transit hotel close to Heathrow. The location was a bit difficult to find as the side road off Bath Road had no signage for the hotel. There was no fridge in the room (which is dreadful!) The facilities seemed to be miles from our room and we must have walked that hundred yard corridor at least eight times during our one-day stay. The staff, on the other hand were courteous and extremely helpful, and room service rates were reasonable. The ultimate revue for any hotel is 'would I stay there again?' Hmmmmm....

Hotel near Terminal 5
We ate at the restaurant there. The food was okay and we had a great view of the BA airstrip and enjoyed watching the planes take off. It was comfortable and restful. We could not find a machine to get bottled water to make tea or coffee as the city water was not too tasty. It was very near Terminal 5 where we were flying from and the Hoppa Bus was convenient to use to take us to the terminal in just minutes. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous.
