Room 409 - spacious, clean, good
Room 409 - spacious, clean, good breakfast GBP 9, staff pleasant and helpful. The gym is a bit limited. Not so good - room had smell which needed the windows to be open, shower did not provide a proper jet of water. Overall good value for money and good location

Good hotel, good rooms, great
Good hotel, good rooms, great and helpful service and good food. To be right by Hyde Park on a concert weekend with a double room for £170 was terrific. I was expecting an upmarket Travelodge and approached with trepidation. Recommend unreservedly.

Great Value and Great Location
The room was a very good size, great value for the price, they included a complimentary continental breakfast and access to the lounge with internet access and all day beverages and snack. The housekeeping was exceptionally accomodating and pleasant. Would definitely consider going back to this hotel

Ive read some bad reviews for this hotel, but I completely disagree. I loved to stay at this hotel. It's staff were very helpful and kind, the rooms were nice and the location is perfect - very close to Oxford Street, Hyde Park and Marble Arch Tube Station, Central Line. I upgrated my room to a de luxe room and got a large room in a quite part of the hotel with a large bed and a nice bathroom. The only minus was that this hotel is large, and to get to my quite room I had to walk in a lot of corridors from the lift, but this isn't a problem unless your unable to walk a lot. The hotel has a a la carte restaurant, a buffet and it's own bar. I only tried the breakfast, which was typically english, but with a lot of dishes to choose from. The bar has a large drinkmenucard. I will definetely stay at this hotel the next time I visit London! Recommended!

Comfort and friendliness galore
The staff at the Thistle Marble Arch bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They made our stay in London a delight, since the suite was well decorated, the bathroom clean and well stocked with toiletries, and the staff more than happy to help us with our luggage. I will definitely go backto this hotel when I go back to London, if at all possible.

There are many different restaurants close by. We sampled English and Italian cuisine, but there were also many mid-eastern and Indian restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.

Great Location
My daughter and I have stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch before our recent trip (7/07) and we were happy with the location and the rooms. I noticed this time around though that most of the staff did not speak English as well as expected and it was difficult to understand them. If you want to shop, this is a perfect location as its around the corner from Oxford Street and most buses are within a block or two of the hotel. Keep in mind though, Oxford Street is very, very crowded every day. The last time we stayed here was December 2005 and the crowds were just as large.

Hôtel agréable
Parti 4jours nous sommes arriver un peu avant 14h la chambre était pas encore prête on a attendu 5min , le personnel ne parles pas français mais anglais et espagnol heureusement pour nous. Personnel serviable ( prêt d adaptateur pour prise + balance pour peser vos valise avant départ sur demande et rapide) chambre confortable malgré la deco qui date de la construction de l hôtel !!! Chambre propre tout est changé chaque jour . À 50m de Oxford street ( primark aussi à 50m très pratique pour allez déposé les sacs entre deux magasins) le métro (tube) est à 100m très pratique ! Chauffage niquel dans la chambre possible de le régler jusqu'à 32° ! En gros c est un super hôtel pour voyage à londres à coter des magasins et pas loin des lieux à visiter.( nous avons fait 1jr shopping et 1jr visite sa suffit emplement.) je le recommande
