Clean, cheap, all the essential
My husband and I spent 4 nights in this hotel. We wanted a place close to the Barbican Centre. The hotel is really close to Moorgate and Barbican tube stations. It is clean (however they cleaned our room only twice in 4 days) and OK for a short stay, e.g. for work - not as a romantic holiday. Breakfast is not included, it's 7.50 per person each day but there is a lot to eat and it is OK. There is a 24 hour restaurant / cafè which is handy but not great. So, essential, minimal and cheap. No shampoo or shower gel provided, no hairdryer.

better than expected
Perfect if you just mainly use it for sleeping there, breakfast is reaaly good, staff is veryhelpful, I'm gonna choose the hotel again....

looking at flats in liverpool station area

Good location
Close to underground and financial district. Bed wasn't great but room had what you need. Little noisy at night. Staff not the greatest.

when i read some of the reviews i was a bit undecided but had a good time it was clean and the food was very good and the staff were so helpfull will use this hotel againdo not listen to people who moan this is a 2 star hotel not a 5 star you want all the frills pay more and get it but if all you want is a nice hotel at a good price this is for you

Not a nice place
basic rooms extremely hot hard to breathe in the rooms. Cleanliness ok wasn't expecting much but would not repeat my stay there had to even ask for toilet rolls!

Good quality
Overall this hotel is a good bang for your buck in London. The location was okay but expected for the price. The subway was close so it was still easy to get around. the staff was short and not very helpful. But overall it was a good experience.

fantastic weekend
The bus links for this hotel just dont get better than this for the city,that didnt stop my other half making us cross over the road and catch the bus to find out we was going the wrong way an he use to live in london ha.Everything else was super clean an just about everything you can expect from a travel lodge all thats missing is a few more pillows we did ask for more an was giving them no problems we stayed two nights an enjoyed the all you can eat breakfast. super time watched a west end show walked loads an lots of sight seeing, cant wait do it again an would pick this hotel again no question for the price.
