Ventures Hotel

It was disgustingly dirty and there were communal bathrooms. I didn't even feel comfortable staying the night so I left. It looked like there were bodily fluids on the walls and beds. I didn't even want to sit down. It was WAY worse than any hostel I have ever visited.

This is a budget hotel so don't expect anything more than budget accommodation. The room was very basic and small but sleep-able in with clean sheets each day. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We asked for extra pillows and towels and they were there by the time we got back from our day out. I am told the breakfast is excellent but we did not partake. The hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from Marble Arch and Oxford Street and there are loads of excellent restaurants around it, especially Lebanese and Halal restaurants. Definitely worth a stay if you are on a very tight budget.

THIS HOTEL HAS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I GOT A SINGLE ROOM AND THERE IS NO BATHROOM. ON TOP OF THAT THE ROOM WAS FILTHY, THE TOILET DIRTY, THE BED HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED OR MADE AND THE TOILET AND THE SHOWER WERE IN THE SAME SPACE-THERE WASN'T EVEN A SHOWER CURTAIN TO SEPARATE THE TWO. THIS COST ME 80 US DOLLARS FOR TWO NIGHTS. I COULD HAVE STAYED ELSEWHERE. WHEN I COMPLAINED THE MAN OFFERED ME ANOTHER ROOM WHICH LOOKED EXACTLY THE SAME. OMG. IT WAS SO HORRIBLE I LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is not an hotel I would recommend even while the pricing was ok. Lot to be desired, too many adverse comments to mention them all. Cleanliness is somewhat eluding this hotel.

This is an absolutely terrible hotel. Do not book there! Zero stars is too high a rating for it[...]. The location is decent being only a few blocks from Paddington Station and just a couple of blocks from the Edgeware Rd. Tube. [...]. They save the "good" rooms for those who book directly with them. The "good" rooms are lousy. The walls are dirty throughout, the beds are old and the pillows rock hard, paint and/or wallpaper is peeling all over and in many places the floorboards and door frames are coming away from the walls. There is lumber ripped out of various spots stacked up in some of the hallways and the breakfast is pretty bad (the bacon was fine, but they probably have the worst sausages in London). They certainly wouldn't ever consider helping a guest with their luggage. There are no bathmats because the bathroom floor is the bottom of the shower. They may be owned by the same family for 30 years, but they clearly haven't spent one cent on the place since then. It is clear that their clientele is entirely foreigners who get suckered in by their misleading website and end up stuck there. Spend a few extra pounds and stay someplace decent. I urge you not to patronize this establishment.

The staff of Ventures hotel are friendly and helpful. The location is good. 10 minutes walk to Oxford street and 12 to 15 minutes walk to Paddington Station. It is located in a multi-cultural district where you will find a lot of interesting and very good food. You may have an internet connection for 5 pounds a day. We got a family room and a double room. The size of the rooms were acceptable and there were bathrooms in the room. The bathrooms lack ventilation and the doors were squeeking. The hotel is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking or breathing difficulty. The stairs are steep. No lift available. The breakfast is NOT good. It would be better to find another place to have a breakfast. Sometimes, you might have to fall in line to get a table. It is okey to stay in the hotel if you do not expect too much

great if you think location, at the corner of Edgware/Sussex gardens. 5mn walking distance from bustling oxford street and Hyde park. 10 mn from Paddington train station. the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was clean but small and located in the basement, so quite noisy at night with upstairs neighbours, and bathroom was small very basic with a bad case of mold on the ceiling. the breakfast was not good, coffee was awful.

l'hôtel est trés bien situés. la douche et les WC sur le palier propre malgré le mauvais états de l'hôtel. le jets de douche fonctionnant très mal. la propreté de la chambre laisser à désirer. je recommande cette hôtel juste pour y dormir et non pas pour y passer du temps

Family hotel in which you always have a room, if it is not in the hotel you booked, they give you another hotel in the same street! The hotel is alright, nothing special but kind of cheap if you consider it's 8 minutes to marble arch...

Un hôtel certes un peu moyen (les chambres sont vraiment vieillotes) mais très bien situé dans Londres et, à 60€ avec le petit-déjeuner et la salle de bains dans la chambre, c'est un très bon deal !
