Superb central Manchester location

Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Superb renovation of Victorian commercial building in central city. 10 minute walk from Piccadilly station. Only complaint is need to purchase internet service which at 5 pounds a day is on the pricey side for such a quality hotel.

Brilliant Hotel & Staff .....

On check in we were greeted with lovely staff, so helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded as it was another parties brithday and that was the reason for our stay there. Hotel is in a superb location, beside Chinatown, restaurants and more bars nearby as well as the shops. Would highly recommend this hotel for location, staff & quality. Staff were brilliant and so helpful...no need to look at other hotels this is the place to stay!

Excellent value with big discount

Hotel very good, if somewhat anonymous in style. Bed very comfortable, good towels etc, although robes would have been useful. Wifi only available for 30 minutes free. Excellent value, given the discount we got. Not sure I'd have been so impressed if we paid full price. Didn't have breakfast so don't know what other facilites were like. Double glazing did a good job at keeping out street noise, although fan inside room gave out a constant hum. Liked having an empty fridge, rather than a tempting minibar. Only problem with bathroom was shower, which did not keep its water temperature well at all.

Okay stay

We stayed here for one night after a long flight. Room was clean. The bathroom was a little odd in that the whole floor was the floor for the shower, with a half partion to stop the water flowing over the toilet. The whole floor was set by the time you finished showering making it difficult to use the bathroom once you were dressed. Room a bit noisy due to rubbish pick up early in the morning.

Ideal city centre location

It was all good. Easy check-in, no queues. Fine room which was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff at breakfast. I liked the small lounge on the 4th floor which meant you could be sociable without sitting in a public space. Didn't need amenities as had a dinner to go out to and only stayed one night

Walk from Piccadilly. Its not far and you get to see a different Manchester than from inside a cab.

Didn't smell right

Staff, service and room all very average, however, the smell from the drain in the wet room on suite was not to be recommended

Manchester Madness

Everyone in this hotel from receptionist, bar staff, waitress in restrauant, housekeeping and George were more than helpful to us during our 3 day stay. We loved every minute of it. Restaurant was first class food and cocktails were to die for. Would recommend this hotel to anyone as you are within reach of all amenities.
