Great Hotel - Shame about the Food
This is a great hotel for anyone to stay before or following their holiday. Rooms are great and beds are super comfortable. It is sadly again the food an beverage selection which continues to let this hotel down. The only description is sadly overpriced and fails by a long way to substantiate the price.

Certainly try the food but make sure you let the staff know if your not happy. They will normally credit this from your bill

Surprisingly had to pay 9.90pounds for breakfast . Very convenient location.I arrived at night so unable to give overall impression.

Comfortable room, ideal for an overnight stay before a morning flight as it is on the airport site. A free shuttle service links with the terminals. Tea/coffee making facilities handy for morning cuppa.

My wife and I spent one night
My wife and I spent one night at the Crowne Plaza before a flight home early the following morning. The welcome we received from the the check in staff was excellent. The room was very clean and modern, the restaurant and bar facilities were very nice and all staff were extremely friendly. We would stay at Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport again without question.

This was a poor example of a 4 star hote
We were just over nighters,having traveled over night from Boston to Manchester UK. We were tired,the hotel curtesy Bus took a long time to arrive ,the slidding door next to the curb was broken we had to board from the Rd. side. There was no porter to help with baggage on arrival. The room smelt of tobaco smoketerribly.The phone and hairdyer were broken.The internet USB wasn't in the drawer or wardrobe,where the notice said it would be. The bedside tables were dirty ,with food . When we compained the PR man tried very hard to make ammends. The room was seedy ---the whole place needed a face lift. The bed was comfortable. A disapointment.

When you think of Crowne Plaza
When you think of Crowne Plaza you think of more than this. It is, in fact, a typical airport hotel with an expensive breakfast and costly internet connections that offset the lower price you might get. It was not bad, but it was a bit dissappointing.
