weekend break
The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful The festive feast was fairly priced but the food was average. The soup served on the second evening was a possible re-hash of the previous evening. The room was clean with ample towels but a second chair would have been welcome.

Noisy Doors
Nice hotel and good location, booked two nights at a reasonable price but cost of an additional night was almost double cost of other two nights. Room was on the small size, main concern though was noisy doors that echoed along the coridoor and meant impossible to get a lay in on the morning.

Great Location
Just off Canal Street in the heart of Manchester with a Car Park next door (cheap too - just £10.00 for 24 hours). My room had recently been refurbished. Free coffee in the Hub area and nice bar with its own courtyard.

I was concerned when I arrived due to the "old" appearence on the outside, however the room was newly renovated and clean, location is perfect and staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Although the room was very small,
Although the room was very small, it was exactly what we wanted - a base to crash after a night out. The place was just around the corner from the Ibis on Charles St. where we would normally stay, so we were still the same distance from the centre. In comparison to the Ibis, the room rate is cheaper and no less comfortable. (this night was free for us however, as we used our dollars!) We will probably use this place in future...
