Beware the additional charges
What they don't tell you when you book is that there is an £8 car park fee. As there is no alternative parking in the vicinity this is in effect an additional £8 on the hotel rate. Breakfast is £17.50 - that's a lot of toast. Internet access is £15. The leisure facilities are fine, but they only allow under 16s in at limited times, even when accompanied.

Not satisfied!!
Our suite was on the basement level, we had to use the stairs and carry our babies pram each time because there was no lift! We also found that there was no fridge or mini bar in the room!!

The Airport Hotel that isn't
This hotel advertises as an airport location but in fact is over 2 miles away from the airport and does not offer a shuttle service (unless you are an Emirates Air crew member). The taxi fare is about $10 each way from/to the airport, not all that bad but certainly not convenient. No public transportation available to get to the airport or directly in to the city. There are plently of alternatives around Manchester Airport, check them out.

Long walk from hotel
The Romper pub was worth the 15 minute walk from the hotel, just bring an umbrella and sturdy shoes. The food and atmosphere of the pub are fantastic.

21st to 25th Oct. 2010 Excellent service. Many attentive waiters during breakfast. Very helpful staff at reception. Even the cleaning and auxiliary staff were particularly pleasant when met in the corridors. Via "Hotel Club" booking we were given a free upgrade to executive room and use of executive lounge. Luxurious beds and very clean. Huge gym and pool, all beautifully looked after. A great place. Will use always when in Manchester.

Great Location for the airport
Was a great for the hotel but you had to take a taxi to any attractions or shops. Also the resturant with in the hotel was superb.
