5th visit to this hotel

Love this hotel. Service is great. Room is comfortable. Almost everything we needed, only issue was that there were no bath robes in the room when they said there would be, I'm sure they would've brought them up if we had rang reception. Definitely recommend this hotel, the spa is perfect. We will stay again I'm sure.

Christmas Day

I choose this hotel because it is rated 5 star and I wanted to stay somewhere special for chrismtas day. This hotel did not in my opinion deserve 5 stars the hotel rooms did not have any WOW factors or personal touches. I would recommend this hotel for business not pleasure. The breakfast was tasteless and choiceless, I would not stay here again.

Real let down

A few members of staff were amazing. Then when booking room service they were awful. The food was terrible at around 9pm and we had to wait an hour and a half. The duty manager did refund us. This hotel did not feel 5* at all. I also found a black hair in the bath. Overall not a good experience and for the money we paid I wished we would have spent our money somewhere else.

Gorgeous hotel

Stunning hotel with a fabulous location in Manchester. Service at Breakfast was a bit of a shambles as they appeared to be understaffed but besides that lovely. I would stay again.

Luxury hotel in ideal position

The hotel was luxurious and the staff were helpful but there are a few buts! There is no parking at the hotel even though the booking site showed the parking symbol. We had to pay a high price at the nearest multi-storey and it would be nice if the hotel offered a discount. The hotel room was amazing but there was no air con and it was too warm during the day as the controls did not go below 18. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful but unfortunately we had some wrong information given to us by reception. He told us we could walk to the Quays within 15 minutes and did not need a bus but after an hour of walking mostly along a busy road we realised it was not possible and could only find a bus to bring us back and abort the visit. It was a shame because we only had 4 hours for sight seeing before our return. The hotel is still worth a visit but plan your time wisely

Excellent for an overnight stay

The best things about this hotel -our concierge Jordan went the extra mile to sort out biscuits, fresh milk and hot chocolate drink for us :) - the location (opposite the Albert Hall) was GREAT :) - the breakfast fruit salad was delicious, best ever :) Things we'd improve -UHT milk, no filter coffee, no biscuits in room :( -steam and sauna facilities are just OK :( Thanks to the excellent service of the staff, we're definitely thinking of returning.
