Big dissapointment

I'm afraid but won't recommend to say there. Room had no windows and really noisy air conditioning. Carpets were full of dust and require replacement. There was party downstairs and you can hear music till really late, no insulation at all.

Poor Room, inadequate facilities, lengthy checkin

Friends had rooms with windows and I paid same price and got a little box room, not window, inadequate ventilation so room was like a sauna. Carpet stained, light hanging out of ceiling above bath that i had to push back in, plug & shower fixture kept coming off. Check in time appalling took over 45 minutes to get checked in.

Saturday night stay

We booked a non-smoking room, but were given a room that stank of cigarettes.they changed room for us and the second room was grubby.the whole place could do with a freshen up.Bathroom was dirty:2 hairs in the basin and a line of grime around the bath.the hairdrier was broken but they did bring a replacement. very convenient to Picadilly station but would not stay there again.

Great Location in Central Manchester

Large, older hotel that is clearly targetting a value traveller, and it is a very good value. The rooms are older, many without any windows and have not been updated in a very long time. But if you need an inexpensive bed in the heart of Manchester, this is a good option.

Never again

Stayed here last night.Hotel very out dated , our room was suppose to be executive twin, beds very hard, shower was broken, black grout around bath, bath not cleaned properly .grout around bottom of bath very tatty. Staff on reception not great, gave us wrong room to start with,Not very knowledgable of surrounding area etc.. We paid £117.00 for this . Says restraurant,mm , small raised area in bar. Food was good but just pub food.Breakfast was good value as we booked it nite before. Staff there nice and helpful. Spoke to a few others staying there who all had issues with there rooms etc. Wifi didn't work either.

Not the best around

Wasn't generally happy with my stay I must say! the hotel bed was hard as a rock and it must have been the worst 4 nights of my life. The waiters at the restaurant were good however the staff at the reception were not the best, one of them was a bit rude!! hotel facilities are just average and needs some proper doing up!

Absolutely appalling Hotel AVOID

Where do I begin, booked for 2 nights and paid in full by Debit Card received confirmation of the booking and payment within 5 minutes which luckily I printed off and kept. OK I had a late flight so only arrived at the hotel at 1.00pm, went to the desk to check in only to be told by the night Duty Manager that I did not have a reservation, I said that is impossible as I booked and paid on line and have the confirmation, he asked for this checked again and said "Nope you don't have a reservation" I said its in your hand, he said you are going to have to speak to eB**kers its not our problem, I said with all due respect its 1.00am, I,m tired and It aint my job to sort it its yours so give me a room to which he replied if you want a room I have to charge your card to which I replied over my dead body as I have already paid. So grudgingly he throws the key at me and said "YOU" are going to have to sort this in the morning. OK so the morning comes and I go to reception the Polish girl on the desk says"Its sorted, it was our reservation centre that put the wrong date on your booking so consequently we had you as a no show and cancelled the booking, everything is fine now" OK I said have things to do will be back latish tonight and off I go. 9.30pm I get back to the hotel go to my room, open the door and guess what its not been cleaned, I have no coffee, no shower gel, no shampoo and an un-made bed so I phone reception to be told by the same night manager that housekeeping have all gone home and there is nothing he can do, I politely asked him to at least send me up some coffee and toiletries, guess what I fell asleep waiting and they never came. Take my advice and avoid this place!!!
