in need of a little TLC
Hotel has great location room was small but cosy was expecting it to be a little more spacious as I paid for a double room shower didn't work very well either room was always warm though so that made up for it hotel areas were kept clean and nite staff on the door were pleasant have to say reception staff were efficient at their jobs but definitely lacked warmth not good wasn't even asked if everything in the room was ok when checking out would stay again but would know not to expect a happy welcome or goodbye think this hotel depends a bit to much on its location and forgets that the small details are the most important

Tatty and tired rooms
Hotel is well placed for city centre. Staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, rooms are allocated as guests arrive. So although on both booking and phoning in advance to say I would be a late arrival, after 6pm, and requesting a non smoking room & floor and NOT an internal room, I was allocated these on arrival and they unable to change this. Room was tatty, damaged fittings and fixtures. Breakfast of inferior quality lacking items..

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in
I travel frequently, and often internationally for work and pleasure, and this is by far, absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The first night I was put in a room without any windows and a nightclub just below with no sound proofing. The air conditioning also did not work. Needless to say, no sleep that night. The second night I changed rooms 3 times because after a room with a window becoming available, I was put in a room that had not been cleaned with food on the floor. The room I was finally given I later discovered that the toilet didn't flush. A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE.

Awful-not even worth one star
This hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. We thought we had got a good cheap deal- we soon realised why it was so cheap! We arrived in the evening, and after waiting to check in for an hour and a half, we were informed there were no rooms left despite our reservation. There had been no attempt to contact us beforehand to let us know so we could make other arrangements. Finally we were told there was a room but it needed cleaning. Now two hours late for our plans we agreed to take this providing the room was cleaned when we came back. They showed us to a room with a BLOCKED TOILET, BROKEN SINK AND URINE STAINS ON THE FLOOR!! Ive never seen anything like it - I don't know how this place hasn't been shut down. We opted to leave -totally ruined our plans. And we weren't the only ones- the place was full with people with no rooms/broken rooms - WOULDN'T WISH THIS ON ANYONE.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in
Where to start? Rooms have no windows, possibly to hide the fact that no maintenance or decoration has been done since 1978. When I eventually got room after 4 hour wait depite reservation confirmed the wardrobe door fell off. This was fortunate because the maintenance man was able to explain the reason for the boiling temprature of the room was because they don't turn on air-con in the winter. I thought the hotel advert had said there was air conditioning so I chose to avail of the free broadband only that was a lie too. So no broadband, no air-con, no room service, no maintenance done for a quarter or a century and I almost forgot, it smells. Later in the evening I met with a lawyer from Manchester who asked me where I was staying. Their response to me staying in Sachas was surprise to say the least as she informed me and I quote "Sachas? Isn't it a brothel?" At least I can put her right on that no its not a brothel, prostitute have more pride.
