- 2 Bedroom Terrace Penthouse
- Located on the 15th floor, our 2 Terrace Penthouses feature a 1,000 square foot terrace, accessed directly from the lounge, providing breath-taking views across the city and featuring a 6 person hot-tub, built in music system, tables, chairs and sun lounges. The 2 double bedrooms each have a TV and area to store clothes. Apartment 99 has a main family bathroom with WC and bath with shower over, while the Master bedroom has an open plan bathing area with standalone bathtub looking out across the city sky line. Whilst in apartment 100 there are 2 shower rooms, 1 is en suite to the master bedroom. Both Penthouses have large open plan living/kitchen areas with sofas, music system, a 50' flat screen TV and a 6 seat dining table. The galley kitchen has all modern conveniences including a built in coffee grinder/maker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, cooker and washer/dryer. PLEASE NOTE: Use of the Hot Tub is not included in the room price and is charged at an additional 150 GBP.
- Studio Apartments
- There are five Studios which are situated on the first floor adjacent to the spa and gym. Accommodation comprises a Double bed, en-suite shower room and WC, table and two chairs, washing/drying machine, dishwasher, cooking rings, toaster, fridge freezer, and flat screen television.
- 1 and 2 Bedroom Executive Apartments
- Our large Executive Apartments are available either with 1 or 2 bedrooms, the 1 bedroom apartments are located on the 6th to 14th floors and have a full width balcony with two chairs offering great westerly views over the City, whilst the 2 bedroom apartments are located on the 6th to 16th floors and have a full width balcony with chairs accessed from the lounge offering stunning easterly views over the city and beyond. Each bedroom has a Double bed, flat screen TV and an area to hang clothes. The separate Bathroom has a WC, shower and bath. The separate living area has a sofa, dining table with four chairs and flat screen television. Some apartments have the kitchen area together with the lounge, some are separate, but all have a fridge freezer, cooker, dish-washer, toaster, microwave, and a washing/dryer machine. In the 2 bedroom apartment, the Master bedroom has an en-suite shower room.
- 2 Bedroom Executive Family Apartments
- These large apartments are located on the 6th to 16th floors and have a full width balcony with chairs accessed from the lounge offering stunning easterly views over the city and beyond. Two bed Premium Apartments have a Double bed and TV in both bedrooms and an area to hang up clothes. The main Bathroom has a WC, shower and bath with the Master bedroom having an en-suite shower room. The lounge and kitchen area are open plan having a sofa, four seat dining table and television, and the large kitchen having a fridge freezer, cooker, dish-washer, toaster, microwave, and a washing/dryer machine. The family apartments also have a chair bed in the master bedroom which can fold out to create a bed to allow for a fifth sleeper.
- 1 and 2 Bedroom Deluxe Apartments
- Available either with 1 or 2 bedrooms, these apartments offers great views across the city. Accommodation comprises a Double bed and flat screen TV in each Bedroom; with a separate bathroom (WC, shower and bath).The separate lounge and kitchen areas have a sofa, television, fridge freezer, cooker, toaster, microwave and a washer/dryer machine. The 1 bedroom apartments are located on floors 10 to 14 with large floor to ceiling windows offering great views over the city and the 2 bedroom apartments are located on the 6th to 14th floors and have a full width balcony with two chairs offering views either east or west over the city.

- Our 2 Bedroom Penthouses have 2 double bedrooms, both of which have a flat screen TV and an area to store clothes. The main family bathroom has a WC and bath with a shower above. There is also a separate living and dining area. PLEASE NOTE: This apartment can sleep up to 6 people, 2 single foldaway beds will be used to accommodate the 5th and 6th persons. - Located on the top 2 floors, with balconies on both levels providing amazing views across the City Centre and the hills beyond. Lovely Hotel/Apartment
The Aparthotel Light Boutique is a lovely place to stay. Perfect location to Market Street and Arndale shopping center. The room was comfortable and clean. I would suggest asking for more towels as there are just the basics there. The staff was friendy and nice, however, there was one staff member that really went above and beyond - offering to print up my boarding card, and suggestions for restaurants. I'm just kicking myself that I didn't get her name, but she made a lasting impression that made her stand out from the rest of the staff there.

An Awful awful,Wolf in shabby clothing
Okay, No Wi-Fi Damaged television. No Hair-dryer. People shouting outside our door at 4am. Seemed more like a hostel atmosphere. Blood on the walls on one floor. Instead of re-painting they patch the place up with paint and filler, looks awful on closer inspection. Not very clean. Gets by on having a smooth façade but offers very little once your eyes adjust to the reality of the place. Good location, but there are 20 hotels nearby. Overall 0/5

Disappointed in Midlands
Not worth the money
So I have stayed in a few places however this has proven to be the worst so far and yet the most expensive so far. We get to an apartment with no balcony as promised, none of the basic amenities as suggested online. We ha no hair dryer and it took 1.5 hours to get one. We had no cooking utensils. TVs were poorly hung up with no manoeuvrability. Signal kept cutting out. Bath tub was tiny. Since we went for New Years, you expect some noise however we had more than noise ... There were gangs of men outside our apartment shouting at the top of their voices whilst banging on our front door. Upon calling reception, they advised it was the police ... As if I don't know the difference between the police and hooligans. Needless to say nothing was done, we simply had to wait for them to leave. The one good thing is location, with a tesco right next door and arndale down the road. However, parking was a rip off at £15 per night!!!!!

We booked our night away verylast minute saturday morning for that night, when we arrive we went to reception and was greeted very warmly by the staff and they couldn't do enough for us during our stay we stayed in a family apartment on the 13 floor it was well layed out very clean an the veiw was fantastic i would recommend the the Light to every one.

Friendly, chic and great location
I have stayed in this hotel alone and with a friend. The rooms are well equipped with stylish furniture and great little touches like tea, coffee etc. It is 5 minutes walk from the station and right in the thick of all the main shops and the Arndale centre. It also has a Tesco next door so is ideal. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. They have helped me out with booking of taxis and even on where certain shops are. I will definitely stay here in the future.

Fantastic pad and great base in the city
This was a great place to stay in Manchester City Centre, couldn't be more convenient for shopping, bars and nightlife! We were upgraded to one of the penthouses on the 19th floor- the view was amazing and it also meant that city centre noise wasn't a problem. There were 3 double bedrooms, one with a fantastic en-suite, and the apartment had balconies outside all the rooms- these weren't big enough to sit on, but great for just standing out and looking at the view. Highly recommended!

The service we received from the
The service we received from the reception was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our apartment was fantastic with great views across the city and a spacious balcony to enjoy them from. Couldn't fault anything.... except our stay was too short!!! The location of the hotel was perfect too with easy access to the shops, MEN and everywhere else.

Excellent apartment with 2 very comfortable double bedrooms, lounge and kitchen and great views from balcony. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Complimentary breakfast pack an added bonus. Would be a great bargain for 2 couples wanting a night out in Manchester.
