The Place Apartment Hotel

my three sons and I stayed here for a week while we attended soccer games. the location was excellent and we all felt this was the best deal we have ever had for accomodations. we spent an extra $11 apiece to upgrade to the bigger 2 bedroom unit and that would have been a bargain at 2 or 3 times that price. Beds were king size, rooms were large, utensils and dishes were plentiful and daily clean up was excellent.

A great place to stop, reception staff very pleasant and efficient, great spacious rooms , everything you need. Wouldnt hesitate to stop here again

Pleasantly surprised on arrival, lovely welcome and nice reception area, we arrived a little early for our room and without asking were offered suitcase minding facility which enabled us to carry on with our day in comfort.Extremely impressed with apartment, facilities and standard of furnishings, loads of room and very comfortable, had a great nights sleep and ordered breakfast to room next morning, which arrived on time and was very tasty- will definitely recommended and stay here again.

My friends and I stayed in a 2 bed apt last weekend. This is a great location. They were a bit short on staff during breakfaast and we had to wait around for food to be replanished but the Reception Staff were excellent. Lauren on Reception was brilliant. Couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be staying there again.

well worth paying the extra for a deluxe suite! staff very knowledgeable and kind, upon check in i enquired about late check out and they allowed it and didn't let me pay the surcharge. great location, atrium looked so beautiful. The only improvement i could suggest in our apartment was that the wooden floor desperately needed sanding or polishing or something as the black marks and scratches gave a bad impression. but everything else was beautiful. Could have done with more reception staff on for Sunday morning check out as there were hoards of demanding hen party members making the process difficult.

The Place apts were great, just round the corner from Picadilly station, we got an upgrade on arrival to a superior 2 bed apartment. It was lovely, really spacious with fab views across the city, they come well equipped and it made for a great place to relax in between shopping, eating, drinking & dancing! Would recommend and use again when in Manchester.

Our one-bedroom partment was reasonably well-appointed, though the bedroom was rather cramped - odd use of space since the bathroom was large despite being a simple WC and overbath shower. Room service was prompt and the dishes were good value. Staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were very good. However the building was very noisy at times, especially on the Saturday evening with many of the apartments occupied by groups of people. Some of these groups were considerate but at least one was vulgar in its excesses. The design of the building is attractive but does nothing to mitigate noise. The room was in need of a thorough clean - not filthy, but the floor needed a proper onceover.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean apartment with absolutely everything you could want, all just 2 minutes from Piccadilly Station. Food available on site if you want it, quality shops on the station concourse if you don't. Knowledgable, friendly staff on duty at all times. Apologies to the other hotels in Manchester, but from now on I don't need to stay anywhere else! This really has it all.

Although we only booked(and paid for)a one bedroom apartment we were allocated a huge two bedroom suite with outside views from both bedrooms.The staff are top class and could'nt be more helpful even booking in at 1.30 am.Would not hesitate to recommend The Place

plenty of space!! quiet! clean! best value for money, better than when compared to hotel/B&B rooms.
