Hotel staff very friendly and helpful at all times the air conditioning didnt seem to keep the temperature to which you had set it the towels were a bit on the small side excellent location for city centre and would certainly stay again

Perfect location 5 mins walk from main station:very quiet unless you are facing courtyard when they are emptying bins early(5.30am approx) or on roadside if you want your window open as it faces main road. Buffet breakfast adequate choice but needs more fresh fruit,real juice rather than juice drink and there is small cooked choice.Bonus is availability of a free broadsheet newspaper.

The Holiday Inn was ideal for
The Holiday Inn was ideal for our requirements. My daughter and I stayed for one night whilst we were visiting the university. The staff were courteous, the room clean and comfortable and the breakfast just right. Would definitely stay again.

stayed on a sunday night and got a good deal. great location, 10 mins to the gate, not sure how noisy it would be friday and saturday, but its slightly off street location seemed to make it quite peaceful.

Unbeatable location for the price
I was in a 2 single beds room. I went out in the morning and returned at night. Near the hotel there is great shooping place (ELDON SQUARE), several good restaurants, enjoyable museums and good transportation options too. Newcastle city is an university one with a great number of students (my son is a new entrance student of Northumbria University).

Nice hotel shame about the stags and hens
This hotel is perfectly situated for Newcastle centre and the staff are warm and friendly. Unfortunately it is also a mecca for stag and hen parties so don't expect to get any quiet until after 3.30 in the morning. Expensive bar but good breakfast and good value for money if you remember your earplugs!
