Loved that you offered 20 minutes free internet; both my husband and I had been out of country for over two weeks and we hads tons of email and it was so helpful. Like that the toilet is separate from rest of bath. Like that you have glass shower curtain instead of fabric, which is often "soured" in many hotels. Appreciated courier service to airport. LOVELY breakfast with lots of choices. Will definitely stay at NOVOTEL hotels in future. Regards

Great hotel and perfect location
Loved the hotel. The room was clean and bright and made efficient use of space. It had the required tea and coffee maker with cookies as well as an enormous handicap accessible bathroom, all tile and chrome. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night, but thoroughly enjoyed the short stay.

Could be better
Wouldn't stay here again, late night reception staff poor and breakfast plates and cutlery were dirty. Having to rake for a clean plate within a pile of breakfast plates put us off breakfast which is a rip off based on selection. Also [...]you need to get your act together as we did not appreciate being advised at check in (11:30 at night) after a long day travelling that we were room only rather than the advance purchase offer which included breakfast. Fortunately we had the good sense to take a copy of the final invoice and after debate the hotel honoured what was in writing. [...]

We thoroughly enjoyed our short
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here (with our dog ) no complaints at all. A comfortable clean room and an excellent Breakfast.We shall book again when we are next visiting Newcastle.

Average to poor
Car parking is a nightmare, due to hotel stay and fly program. No valet service, walked in the rain 3 times from a long way. No help from hotel staff whatsoever.

When I arrived at the hotel I
When I arrived at the hotel I asked to be booked on a 6.30 transfer to the airport. I double checked with reception to see if the transfer booking had been made. When we arrived at the reception at 6.20 we were told that we were not booked on the bus. Reception then told us they would book us a taxi but this did nit arrive either. we had to wait until the bus returned and take that to the airport we did not get to the airport until after 7.00am and almost missed the check-in time for our flight. A complete fiasco.

The hotel is about a £10 from the centre of Newcastle. The nearest metro station is Kingston Park. The hotel itself was lovely. After spending some time with friends in the town centre I was dissapointed that the hotel bar wasn't open. The room itself was nice and the bathroom facilities were very modern. I would definitely stay here again when I'm next in Newcastle.
