This is an old hotel but one which is trying its best to stay relevant. Its accessibility and location relative to parking are poor, and the cost is high, but the service is good.

The pricing was excellent because
The pricing was excellent because I had a 2 for 1 offer. The hotel does not look luxurious as Hiltons usually go but they had spa facilities for reasonable prices. The location is within 5-10 mins. walk of coach and railway stations, very convenient for all shopping. Room is quiet and spacious with coffee making facilities. Breakfast was ok. but I did not think it was up to the usual std. of Hilton but nevertheless excellent value as it was included.

Car parking is expensive and the
Car parking is expensive and the hotel only has a small car park which costs £20 per night. The car park across the road is only £4.50 beween 17.00hrs and 09.00hrs. Never been charged to park as a hotel resident before !!
