Good choice for business travelers
I came to the hotel by car at 9:45pm, and could hardly find a place to park, and had problems to get food as the restaurant closed at 10pm. Otherwise, the place is nice, clean and comfortable. It is meant for business conference attendants, so you should expect things like crowdy breakfasts etc.

Great place to stay and great value!
The Hotel is just beautiful. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The location is great. In short, a fantastic hotel at a great price. I have really nothing to criticise.

We were very disappointed to be told we were not in the main building but in a seperate block. This block was very scruffy and not a building you will see on the Devere website. When we asked about staying in the main building we were told we would have to pay extra to upgrade. We had quite a walk and were not offered any assistance with our bags.

Clearly used as a corporate training
Clearly used as a corporate training venue during the week, this makes a better-than-average cheap hotel for weekends. Though the bedrooms are in a 60's annex, they are clean and neat. The country house feel of the main building is supplemented by a nice pool and fitness complex. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but it looked good. Set in nice grounds and just 15 minutes from the Oxford Park'n'Ride it is a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the city of dreaming spires.

Not what you expect from De Vere.
Not what you expect from De Vere. This is a basic meeting venue set in a rather grand old house. I will not be rushing back.
