- Room offers a double or twin bed with a modern & relaxed design and the added comfort of continental quilts, offering both comfortable seating and work space. Upgraded facilities offer complimentary Internet access and movies, soft drinks from the minibar, option for a late 2pm checkout, bath robe, complimentary local newspaper, wake up and message service, upgraded luxury toiletries and the use of a safe in the room. Some rooms offer a sofa bed for families. Also included is a complimentary bottle of house wine when dining in the hotel restaurant (3 courses).

Centrally located, with good facilities
Centrally located, with good facilities and large public areas. The rather drab exterior is not a reflection of the standards in the hotel which are very good. Conoisseur bedroom was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff who were not intrusive. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Well located hotel half price breakfast deal represeted fair price for decent breakfast (£8) double that would have been too expensive. Locked out of hotel room when reception had query on bill (this happened 2 times) resolved quickly but annoying. Room excellent - interior much better than the exterior would suggest.

Although a little "tired" the
Although a little "tired" the property offers very reasonable facilities. The design of the building has the reception on the 1st floor and there is no lift from the under ground car park and the ground floor for luggage which is a bit of a drag. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay. Staff were excellent.

Nice hotel in good central location,
Nice hotel in good central location, didn't use any of the facilities or restaurant but whta we saw was excellent.

I am not sure why this is a 4*
I am not sure why this is a 4* hotel as it is in need of updating and does not have air conditioning. The staff were all very pleasant and it is right in the centre of Plymouth with underground car parking so very convenient. The breakfast was good value for £10.
