We have stayed here several times
We have stayed here several times and find this hotel gives very good value for the price with nice rooms. They seem to feature very keen price promotions quite often. Breakfast nothing special. Very friendly service. Well located even if not in the most attractive part of town.

The rack rate was good, however
The rack rate was good, however the hotel has a steep charge for internet access at £14 and the car parking is £4 so this makes it more expensive than other hotels in the same area that dont charge for these services. Food was expensive for the quality.

A very short walk to many restaurants (favorite was (The Blue Moon) and the river walk.

Useful Sheffield hotel
The hotel was a short walk from the city centre and not far from the train station, which was what we needed. However we were put into a room with two single beds pushed together, took it in turns falling into the gap during the night. They didn't have another room available. Not enough pillows either. That aside, a nice hotel and we'd consider staying there again.

Short drive from hotel
Close to the Spital Hill curry houses, not on the right side of town to get out to the peak district, but it's not far to the bus stops in the city.
