The Mercure Shrewsbury Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa is a 4 star Shrewsbury hotel. Just 2 miles from Shrewsbury centre, this 18th century manor house has a lake and 15 acres of grounds. The hotel has 86 contemporary guest rooms, each with internet accessand satellite TV. Sit down to an elegant lunch or dinner in the Oak Room Restaurant or relax in the Terrace Bar. The spa has an indoor heated pool, and 9 meeting rooms can host up to 400 for meetings and weddings.

OK, but not very convenient

We were hoping to spend some time exploring Shrewsbury, but the hotel was not close to the city center, and did not have available public transportation. Having to drive and park in the city was not our preference.

Stayed for just one night but

Stayed for just one night but the room was very large, very clean and with all the things needed for a comfortable stay. The pool and spa were clean and inviting helping to rest weary limbs. The breakfast that was included was top notch with a range of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, breads and cheeses on top of the cooked items on selection. When you bear in mind the hotel rates the breakfast at £14:95 then the room price through [other hotel] is a snip especially if you have some member dollars to throw in. Staff were very polite and attentive.
