Excellent hotel in terms of rooms, cleanliness, location, facilities, and car parking. However we had two unfortunate experiences with members of staff, one who was totally lacking in any sort of welcome or friendliness [reception] and one who was totally unhelpful - 'I haven't time to get it' she said.

Comfortable Stay
My husband and I stayed at this hotel while visiting our daughter over Christmas. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. The rooms were cozy, although the beds could have been a little softer. My husband is allergic to pets, and we chose this hotel because it does not allow pets as well as the proximity to our daughter's flat. The restaurant was excellent! We enjoyed listening to Christmas carolers and the tradition of Christmas crackers during our Christmas eve meal. We had a nice view from our room, and it was close to shopping. Our daughter's friends thought that we must be rich because we stayed at the Ramada! It has a very good reputation in Southport.

Good for business
Room was standard; clean and nice. Wireless internet connection very weak but did provide wired connection. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok - not great.

Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. There was a problem with our booking when we arrived but they sorted it out within minutes without any fuss. Location excellent. 5 minutes from shops etc. View from our room was excellent.

Excellent location, attractive
Excellent location, attractive appearance; good facilities and service all made this a very pleasnt holiday. Easy train transport to Liverpool was an added advantage.
