The hotel is also renowned for its attractive 18-hole golf course set in 157 acres of mature parkland. This is a very elegant hotel. (DB 06/09) The main house was built in the Jacobean style of 1869. The hotel stands just one and a half miles from the centre of Stratford surrounded by acres of beautiful parkland much of which was once the property of William Shakespeare.
