What a joy pleasant and friendly staff
Had a most pleasant stay and visited the sites around where my mother was from. Hotel was clean and the staff most helpful. My only problem was the break was not long enough. But I would recommend this hotel to all worth every penny.

We have a couple of problems (a)
We have a couple of problems (a) feather allergy, bedding changed within 30mins of asking (b) unusual food allergy, staff we had not seen before knew about it and suggested a solution. So service exceptional. Superior room worth the upgrade. Sunderland a surprisingly attractive seaside town for a short break.
