The 3 star Mercure London Watford Hotel is located on the outskirts of London. This stylish Watford hotel is close to the M1, M25 and A1M Motorways and handy for London Luton and London Heathrow Airports. The 218 rooms all have internet access and satellite TV, and The Brasserie and Bar offer a wide selection of tempting food and drink. The hotel has an indoor heated pool and a fitness centre for working out. 14 versatile meeting rooms can hold up to 20 people.

Hotel staff was quite ineffcient.

Hotel staff was quite ineffcient. I booked a nonsmoking room. When I reached there I was put in a smoking room - so making me shift my whole luggage from one room to other at midnight. Secondly on 3RD day they said I have to pay for the breakfast although I have already given them the All inclusive Voucher and had breakfast without any problems the day before. With great difficulty I persuaded them to communicate with me later with a copy of the voucher. Thirdly on arrival I had requested an express tranfer as I have to attend a meeeting at 8.00 A.M but was not sent any confirmation of checkout. In addition the problem at the breakfast delayed by appointment for 30 minutes in the morning.

A good, standard type, modern

A good, standard type, modern hotel in the Watford area. Car needed but it is very conveniently located for M1 and M25. Plenty of car parking. Sports facilities excellent. Food good and at a reasonable price. Price about average for this type of hotel in this area.
