Extended Stay Deluxe Anchorage - Midtown

Upon arriving, we noticed several windows open and the outside temp. was around 25 degrees. When we entered our room, it was very warm so we went to turn off the heat and found it already off. After an hour or so we realized that we weren't going to be able to sleep without also opening our window. Then we contended with the traffic noise from the fast food restaurant outside our window. There was a "living room" but it consisted of a sofa, coffee table, t v on a shelf and an overhead light. Not too inviting. We always try to be objective in our reviews but we had read about the heat problems in other reviews so we knew this was not a singular incident. We were thankful that we'd only booked one night of our three night stay in Anchorage.

I stay in hotels all over Alaska, this hotel is a good hotel to stay in and the price is unbeatable

I was suprised at how I booked a King suite, but had an extra room off of the living room area, the extra room had 2 beds, and a TV. So there were a total of tv's in this room.

Have stayed at several Extended Stays in the past, and easily this was the least favorable experience I've had. Room was clean enough, but everything had a worn & dingy feel to it. One stove burner didn't work, and the bath tub gave a crunching sound when you stepped in, feeling like the whole tub was ready to cave in. Hot water was good, bed was comfortable, but struggled to find an acceptable temperature for the room - cool left it at 60-62, and heat 80-85. Service desk personnel were cold and indifferent. Lighting in desk area was inadequate for working at night. The TV's (identical) would not receive the same stations. Certainly not a disaster, but for the price this place has a lot of room for improvement. Next time I'll look elsewhere.

The experience was good. The amenities were excellent for the deal that I got, I wanted to extend my stay by another 2 nughts but the prices had shot up twice the amount I paid. The location is good as all major eatieries and shooping complexes are in walking distance.

was good, its pet friendlt so it was nice to see puppys all over. the staff was good and the location was nice. the theater and zoo where close.

The kitchen area was a little cramped, but it met out needs.

Very close to local shopping, not too far from the mall. Tons of restaurants nearby. Super friendly staff, definitely will be staying here again.
