Traveler junkie
Bad Area
I did not like the location of this hotel. People's cars were being broken into and the room service people stole my ring. The hotel did nothing about it and stated that you stay at your own risk. I would advise against picking this hotel it needs security!!! We only ate breakfast once it was just waffles and muffins.

40TH Anniversary
First Time to Anchorage
The hotel and staff were the best . The breakfast the hotel offered was one of the best . If you need to shop a Walmart is within walking distance . We rented a car at the airport and that let us see everything on our list . The log cabin on 4TH and F St. will help you find things to do and places to go .

Qdoba is a Mexican restaurant on Benson Rd. a short drive and has very good food . For the best Halibut fish taco go the Snow Goose on 3RD st .

We chose Springhill because of it's location and convenient shuttle from the airport. Room was very clean and well appointed. Our room was very quiet, which was bonus the weary traveler. We found our breakfast was better than most hotels we've stayed. Clean pool and hot tub.

The staff was great!! We had fish we wanted to keep frozen until we left on the plane the next day and the staff went above and beyond to find us a freezer. They then stopped to pick it up the next morning when the shuttle took us to the airport. Great job!!

Great location, room and service
We stayed here on two different dates while en route to Denali and then onto Seward. The rooms were more spacious than most we have stayed in for our family of four, rates were reasonable for the area and the size of room. Pool was great, shuttle service worked perfectly (we used it to get to and from the train as well as the airport). Very very pleased.

Comfort and good value, plus extra help
Very comfortable, good value and a convenient location. Extra help from [...] the hotel management [...]on a booking problem--it seems we had double-booked ourselves on both our arrival lodging and our departure lodging a week later--several nights on each end. Didn't realize it until the end of our departure stay. Extraordinary cooperation by hotel management [...] enabled us to go back and "unwind" the double booking and get a refund of what we had paid for the unused extra room bookings--saved us nearly $900, which was promptly refunded [...]. Outstanding service!
