Perfect for whole family
Our family of 6 could all fit in one room. It was modern, comfortable, great customer service, great views, great location for us. We were very happy.

Good hotel + close to the University
Well, the hotel was clean and friendly, especially for the staff in charge of the morning breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was fairly nice for a cafeteria style meal; with menu changes to break the monatony. My only complaint was that the bathroom exhaust fan did not work, although opening the window vented the room quite nicely. Overall, the stay was enjoyable.

Medical trip. This great hotel provides a shuttle to the hospitals. I have stayed 3 separate times over the last 2 months, up to a week at a time. The only improvement would be to receive a medical discount for the room.

nice and quiet
nice and clean, pool seemed cloudy that nite but nice and clean and clear the next am. hotel staff came by our room at about 930 at nite with a lost little boy aprox 2 years old, must have been going room to room, which in my opinion didnt seem like the right thing to do. nice breakfast lots of choices

Short drive from hotel
nice location off the beaten anchorage path which leads to a much quieter stay. i will stay here again, maybe in summer when the lake is not frozen

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!
The hotel charged my Husband and I three times for our stay. They refused to return our phone calls, meanwhile our travel account went into overdraft. It took 2 phone calls to corporate for them to return our money. The manager was completely unapologetic and acted like we were in the wrong. We reserved a king bed (which costs more), and were given two full beds. After asking us if we wanted a shower or tub, (we requested a tub) they placed us in a room w/ a shower twice. Apparently they don't even know which rooms have tubs vs. showers. We gave up that night, and brought the matter up the next day and they told us that they couldn't help us. The staff is not interested in the least in pleasing its guests. The hotel itself was nothing special. Boring decor, and awkward design setup in the rooms... The shower and toilet are in separate rooms. Nothing good to say about this place. I would never stay here again!

Disappointed
Dive Bomb
The non-smoking room wreaked of cigarette smoke and there were cigarette burns everywhere. The room was stuff and hot when you opened the window there was no screen to keep the mosquitoes out. The bed were hard and you could feel the coils of the mattress. Our suite consisted of a fridge and a small microwave. Needless to say our week stay ended fast and we checked out after one night.
