Westmark is always a great place for a quick overnight stay. The winter rates are a good value, but the breakfast is not so great. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and easy access to other sites
Nice accomodations. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there. Only one issue. When I arrived in the room the thermostat was making a noise loud enough to wake me up at times during the night.

A fine Fairbanks Hotel
Although the Westmark identifies itself as a downtown hotel, it's really in a mostly residential area several blocks from downtown. It's very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. My room was in the south tower, which did not have Internet access; I had to go down to the busy lobby to get a signal (ask for a north tower room, they have access). Otherwise, a pleasant experience.

The Thai House, 412 5th Ave., is about 4 blocks away - authentic Thai food, great service, and very reasonably priced.

Good location
i stayed in the older section of the hotel which was average. My friend stayed in the newer section which was nicer. The location was good and would stay again if I were in the newer tower of hotel.

Nice lobby. Once on the room floor, flashback to the 70s! Okay for inexpensive trip (hard to beat $58), but wouldn't pay much more...

great stay

A welcoming place
