Marina Motel

We spent 2 nights in this motel. Nothing was terribly wrong, but overall impression was not positive. Our non-smoking room had quite a noticeable smell. A card on the desk was saying that it was cleaned from tobacco smell, but clearly not enough. Had to keep the window open. The bath tub seal needed to be redone, and water could not be completely switched to shower, so half of it was flowing from the tap and was wasted (not exactly environmentally friendly). WiFi worked during the first day but not the second. Tea was not provided in the room (only coffee), and sugar was not refilled after it was over (when leaving, we noticed an apparently common stock of teabags and sugar not far from reception, but the staff failed to mention its existence to us). Otherwise, just a usual motel that did not see renovation for a very long time, and of course it would cost twice less in the lower 48 states. Will definitely try some other place if visiting Seward again.

For the price and location I don't think it could get better there in Seward. It had free wifi with a fridge in the room. There's a microwave in the lobby. Two gas stations and the grocery store very close also.

This motel was as described. Clean and was close to where I wanted to stay. They are very friendly folks and when I got off the train from ANC. I hoped to leave my luggage with them until check in. They would have gladly done that but they had a room ready for me at 11:00 a.m. which was great due to the rain coming down in buckets. The motel was a bit dated but it was clean. TV worked well, plenty of hot water too. I read where someone was surprised by the size of the tub (as a tub it would be small) as a shower base it was more than large enough. They also were happy to print out our boarding passes for our flight home. Would I stay there again? Certainly would. Would I recommend this motel? Yes I would M. Haines Mass.

The rooms are large and clean even if they're nothing fancy. The front desk staff was very friendly. There isn't anything to do at this motel so don't plan on spending much time in the room. Luckily the motel is close to everything in town. Saying the rooms have a view of the marina is very generous. You might see a couple masts sticking up over the buildings across the street.

Was to expensive. When I ask the reception if they give a senior discount. Was told since I booked on line had to paid that amount. She stated the room would of been cheaper if I had called direct and booked with her. The place reminded me of a old cabin. was clean and the beds were comfortable.

This is an older hotel. Rooms much nicer than the outside appearance would suggest. Would stay there again. Some of the better rates for the area.

Seward was a quick stop over for us. We spent one night. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.

Basic bed, fridge, TV, near to the sight-seeing vessels. Basic and clean.

Quiet, Clean, and comfortable with a helpful and friendly staff. Not brand new, be VERY well maintained and spotlessly clean. Easy to find on the main road into town and walking distance to the harbor and all of the rest of town.
