Great place to stay at A.U.

The staff was very courteous, helpful, and attentive. The location is convenient to campus with ample parking. The room was very quiet and well appointed. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely stay there again. Campus maps are available at the front desk if you are new to the Auburn University campus.

Hotel was in a convenient location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the airconditioning was difficult to control...either freezing or too hot and hard to adjust. The floorlamp in our room had an LED bulb that was hanging out of socket, broken and couldn't be used. Other than that....it was fine.

A mechanical devise of the hotel made loud noise the first night, was repaired by the second. Fitness room equipment not funcitional and needs to be repaired.

While this is a great location in Auburn, the cleanliness is lacking. The air conditioner did not cool and we had to go get our towels and toilet paper.

Decent Football Game Hotel

A five plus minute cab ride to campus (a little too far to walk). But probably the best part of the hotel was the shuttle / taxi service they use. There was always a van waiting to take us to campus (stadium, restaurants and bars) and they were there within 5 minutes when we called for a ride back. As for the hotel itself, it had 4 walls a roof, a tv, bathroom and two beds...

My Granddaughter plans to to to Auburn University School of Veterninary Medicine. We attended Vet day sponcered by the school for future students.
The Lexington Hotel Was very nice. I was somewhat disapointed with the room as it has been awhile since the last update. It was clean.
The front desk people were very forthcoming with information we inquired about. We were made to feel welcome from the first time we walked through the door.
I would have liked to have had something besides Chineese dinning. 1. The food was not very good 2. VERY expensive. Also the waitress did not appear to be experienced. We had to ask for everything from napkins to the bill.
I will stay at the Lexington again when I go back to Auburn. The price was right. The next time, I will ask for ground floor. I have a heart condition and the second fllor was almost more than I could handle.

This Hampton Inn in Auburn is exactly what you would expect from this excellent chain of hotels. The hotels are nicely designed and very clean. Breakfast is complementary; and the Starbuck's coffee is great. It's about a 10 minute drive from its location, just across the Interstate, to the campus at Auburn University. It has an outdoor pool.

The place was nice. Some group had a party at the pool that was pretty loud until 11 or so. Other than them, perfect stay!

Friendly staff, clean bathroom, but room REEKED of smoke. Had asked for non-smoking, but smoking room may have been all that was available. We just went out and bought some Glade air freshner.

Front desk was helpful, free breakfast at Waffle House. That was the only good things.
The room smelled, the linen was old. I booked a room with a recliner but I got a room with a sleeper sofa. I am glad that I wasn't planning to use it because I could see the old sheets and spread closed up in it. The coffee table had a broken leg. I will never stay there again.

It is a great overnighter for the money. There were no odd smells and there were no loud noises. The bed was comfy. Not the best. But comfy. Its location was nice. It is tucked away from any major road. i would stay there again if money is tight.

This was our first stay at the Microtel in Auburn. Unlike our previous stay at a similar hotel nearby (Sleep Inn), this room was clean, without any obvious air-freshener odor covering up....something. Our room had a queen bed, a sleeper sofa, small desk, small bathroom and plenty of lighting. No shampoo or conditioner were provided in the bathroom, but were gladly provided upon my daughter's request. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were a bit overstuffed (bring your own, like we always do). The TV was an old tube-type, which we really didn't watch. There was a coffee pot in the room. Paint was peeling in the shower, but was otherwise sparkling clean, with no evidence of "critters".
Overall, we were quite satisfied for the price.

I stayed in this hotel the night before my orientation at Auburn and I was pleased overall. The check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and neat. The water pressure in the shower was good. Overall it was a good night stay. Not a 5 star hotel, but more than worth the price.

Chewacla State Park is 1 mile, Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is 6 miles, Surfside Water Park is 1/4 mile, Victory Land Dog Track 20 miles, Auburn University 2 miles and Tuskegee University is 15 miles away. We have easy access to I-85. Pet accommodation: 10.00/night per pet. Pet limit: 2 pets/room - 30 pounds and under.

I just needed a place to rest my head. The Hotel was perfect for that. Desk people did their job and had me in and out. Room was fine. Lighting in the room overall was not great,but I could see everything I reallly wanted to see. Everything was clean and I felt safe.
