Photography Weekend

Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay....the price was right on....the location was excellant....the walls were a bit thin (neighbor family singing Sweet Home Alabama late at night????).....The breakfast was terrible with a T, very poor and very unkept even dirty, unattended......not too bad though, the room was clean and kept clean

Just a room

The room was clean, but it was gaps around the door. Scared some was going to crawl in. The hotel was located around a lot of fast food place. So that's good for those who want something quick. Also, the pool close too early.

The Stay Was Great!

The room was clean, the price was very good. I would definitely recommend the Howard Johnsons. The check-in guy was so pleasant and professional.

The hotel from the Twilight Zone

The hotel room was from the twilight zone. I am most certain of it. The first room we got, the hot water didn't work in the shower, the tv, microwave, and lamp quit working on us. The bathroom light blinks like 10 times before it finally comes on. We had to exchange that room out and get another room. The other room was cleaner and everything worked pretty good, but they need to work on the electrical wiring in that place. The light in that bathroom also took like 10 times before it came on. The sinks have cracks in them. Some banged on our door for like 15 mins at 3:15 in the morning..so sleeping was not easy. I was too scared to see who it was at that hour. They need to fix a few things.

the good, the bad,, and ugly

I am sorry to say it wasn't the Howard Johnson of the past which had great rooms that was in very good conditions. I would rate this room on a 2 scale. the repair work in the bath room was poor, the ceiling could have been repair in a more professional way. the towels and bed liens was in poor conditions.

several fast food places within a couple of blocks, but not many restaurants near by.no real places to eat breakfast.

Family Stay

'Lovoy's' restaurant is right around the corner. The Italian cuisine was wonderful. There is also an amazing Korean place 'Seoul' in the strip mall behind as well as a Vietnamese 'Que Huong' along the same small Plaza. Great Places to eat around here

UGLY

VISITED SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY. TERRIBLE LOCATION NEAR NOISY HIGHWAY. POOR PRIVACY, ON GROUND FLOOD WITH DIRTY OLD CARPET.
