Comfy little room.

This room was small but it was big enough for 2. The staff was nice. The room was clean. The sheets and towels smelled clean. It was a great room for the price.

Not Happy

The room was just ok. The A/C started smoking at 3am and that made the smoke alarm go off.After the smoke stopped, the alarm stopped. I didn't want to get up at 3:30 in the morning to go let them know so since the A/C stopped working we went back to sleep. The next morning I went and spoke to the front desk to let them know what happened. I was told that it would be fixed. We went out to enjoy our day and 6 hours later we returned to cool off and to my surprise the room was HOT. No one had come in to even look at it. So we left again and returned later to find the A/C STILL not working so they say we could change rooms. That meant packing up and moving.I think it would of been nice if we would of been offered a discount or to even stay later than out 11am check out time.

DO NOT SHOP AT ALIVIN"S. They were NOT friendly and I bought a pair of pants that had a hole in them and it was a fight to get them exchanged !!!

Winter Weekend on Gulf Shores

Note, that this trip was in the off season, but the location is very convenient to both Gulf Shores and Foley, ample parking, well lit parking lot, and an excellent staff. Most of all the hotel was clean and affordable, will definitely have this location booked for our next business trip to the area! The rooms are also very nice with long mirrors and a nice foo-ton under the window.

The Hangout on Gulf Shores is under new management but is still awesome. There is a Subway either Highway 59 North or South one is in the Brunos shopping Center to the south, the other 59 North in the Target shopping center. It was easy to find Gluten free food, and all the local restaurants offer a wide variety of entrees.

It was okay. You get what you pay for. Would have liked refrigerator. No extra bathroom tissue. Almost ran out before we got more.

Be sure to eat at Lamberts Home of the Throwed rolls. That is always our first stop.

Perfect for any budget!

This was a great experience for my husband and I on a honeymoon get away. This hotel is convienent to all shopping areas and only a mile from the beach. All hotel staff were corteous and the breakfast was fresh. There were no complaints from other guests, and we enjoyed our stay.

There is an outlet mall about 10 miles from the hotel.

Good value for the price

This is a good place to stay if you want a clean room friendy helpful staff and are willing to drive to the beaches, restaurants, or fun activities.

OK place to stay when you need a bed and a shower

the front desk person was nice there was a security lady which was nice since the back door lock was broken, there was a smell in the room that was tolerable, they did leave breakfast earlier than stated I think it was because a lot of us were there for a race,
