Very nice room. Seemed liked a new hotel. Nice furniture and fixtures in rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast in lobby very convenient. Got the "breakfast included" rate which I think was an extra twelve bucks in which, it said, you can feed up to four people. Next door to a very good seafood restaurant and just down the street from the "Space and Rocket Center".

Our 1st time in Huntsville, Alabama

We were in Huntsville for a wedding receiption that was held at this same hotel we were staying at. Our rooms were very comfortable and very clean. We had a great view of the Space Museum. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to make a few changes to the reservation to make us a little more comfortable at no extra charge. Breakfast wasnt included, but the cleanliness and service made up for it. We even got a call from the front desk a few minutes after we arrived-they just checked to see if all was well with the room.

could be done. My room was spotless. I was able to
rest after a longg flight that originated in New York. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending Taxi service and arranging for their
shuttle to take me to the airport the following day.

Looking for a place to just lay my head for one night so this place was sufficient. Room was clean and in order. Pretty easy access to downtown. Not in the best area of Huntsville but never felt threatened by the surroundings. Seemed to be alot of families staying here for the Space and Rocket Center.

We were in Huntsville for a graduation and loved the Embassy Suites. The room was clean, quite, and nicely appointed. We had dinner at the Ruth's Chris restaurant on sight and had one of the best meals ever. Would definately recommend the hotel and will stay there again.

The location of the inn is fine it just the room smelled and the furniture was very old, and the box spring had no dust ruffle on it and the mattress set was old, the room didn't come across good at all it had new carpet but old bedspreads and the towels looked dirty, and the bathtub needed to be cleaned.

When I got there I had quite a bit of luggage and there was no elevator so I had to make several trips. The room was cool and it was HOT outside, I appreciated that. I liked that there were cameras for the stairs and the parking lot, that made me comfortable, slightly. There were signs on ALL the doors that said No Smoking, but every day, all day there was the smell of smoke right outside my door and down the stairs. When I arrived their printer was out of ink and I had to come back down to get my receipt. I felt someone should have brought it to me!

This hotel is in serious need of a refurbishment. The entire hotel has an old, musty, stale smell that permeated my clothing during my two-day stay. The carpet is shot. Paint is dingy, glass is dirty. I understand the price point this hotel targets, but at some point you do have to clean the place up. It was inexpensive, so my expectations were not high, but even my modest expectations were not met. I have stayed in hotels near the same price point that were clean. Also, beware: Doors at either end of this hotel are not locked at night.

1st room was very filthy
when I came back in the evening the door to my room was open! And I checked before I left and it was locked. BUT NOTHING WAS MISSING!!!!

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. This was my first time staying at this Hampton Inn. The complimentary breakfast was very good - different every day of our week long stay. The rooms were clean and the staff members were helpful and friendly.

Hotel is off the beatin path but close to several chain restuarnts.
Rooms were clean enough though hard amenities (tub, sink, etc) were worn.
Breakfast was good with real china and flatware, not all plastic. Several options for beverages, with hot food.

Nice motel on the main drag. The room was clean, quiet, and secure. The motel has all the usual amenities including workout room and pool.

We were promised a special gift for the youngest child and didn't receive anything. Also, there wasn't a breakfast buffet on the morning of Memorial Day so that was disappointing. We booked the room just for the pool because it was a rainy weekend and it was too cold to enjoy. [...]

The hotel was in a great location, close to everything I needed and good restaurants. The room was very clean. I don't usually stay in hotels that have exterior entrance doors to the room, but the location of the hotel made it worth the experience. I would stay here again.

This Hampton Inn was nice, updated, clean and a good location to the Space and Rocket Center with dining and shopping next door. Only stayed one night and the courteous staff accommodated our late arrival. The breakfast had a variety and was quickly replenished with warm food. The price was great and I would stay again whenever back in Huntsville.

We arrived at the Best Western Rocket City just a couple days after power was restored from being out due to the April 27th tornadoes. Everything was working fine, and it was a nice room. The hotel was in a good area with restaurants and shopping close by on University Avenue.

We were very pleased with the initial look and cleanliness of the hotel. Unfortuntely, the two rooms we booked did not get cleaned or beds made (no clean towels either)the second night of our stay (even though we were gone for 14 hours that day).
Except for that, the hotel over exceeded our expectations, but the lack of cleaning our rooms left us with an overall bad impression.

My daughter and I were traveling for soccer tournament. We had booked a double queen, so I was disappointed when we checked in at 2 PM on the way to a soccer game and discovered at 8 PM (when we went to the room) that we had been assigned a king handicapped room. The clerk claimed that no double queens were available and that the reservation assured a room but not necessarily the type that we requested. Other than that, our stay was very nice. The hotel is new and in excellent condition. The staff was nice. We did not eat there, so I cannot comment on the food. The location was also excellent for our needs -- nearby to plenty of food places and shopping.

The location was perfect. Shopping and dining within a few feet of the hotel. The staff top-notch; however, they charge to use the internet. I have never seen such a thing like at any hotel. The hotel has a contemporary layout, but I did expect more for the price. Other than the inconveniene of being without my internet, my stay was quite enjoyable.

The location was great. A movie theater and mall was less than a mile away. A large variety of dining options were very close to the hotel. My wife and I came down for an outdoors concert, however it was rained out, but we still had a great time. This will be our hotel of choice the next time we are in Huntsville!!!!!
