Tired hotel, but really nice people!!!!!
This was a really old facility, the doors to the room were not sealed properly and it let in lots of light and noise throughout the night. The menu in the restaurant was extensive, but the food quality was horrible. Overall service in the hotel was great, but the restaurant was slow and they didn't have enough wait staff working to handle the number of guests. I would not stay here again, even if I was attending a conference. I would stay at the Embassy Suites across the street.

The Hotel provides very good service
Downtown location is convenient and staff were attentive. Rooms were clean.

Ok stay
On entering room, the room air smelled like it hadn't been used in a log time, almost asked for another room. A/c made it tolerable after we returned to room about 5 hrs after checking in. Cobweb on light fixture. Shower hot water just warm, not hot. Noise from room next door during the night disturbed sleeping first night. Very convenient to seminar location, responsive staff.

Forty Years of Catching Up
Great location for downtown
We were there for a forty year high school reunion. It was a great location for all the activities that we went to during the week-end. There were a lot of groups staying there that week-end so it was a busy with lots of people.

Enjoyable gettaway
The hotel was very clean, had friendly staff, and was in a very great location. Me any my boyfriend loved the pool. It was well maintained. My next trip back, I will definatly stay at the same place. I loved it and it was my first experience on my own.

Family & Animal Friendly
I love the park across the street and the downtown location. The hotel accepting animals was wonderful. Staff was super friendly and the beds and pillows were so super comfortable.

Comfortable Old Hotel
The Holiday Inn Huntsville Downtown was very comfortable, however the bathroom was very tiny and old. It was pretty clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had asked for a wake-up call for 3:30 a.m. which we didn't get, we also for a reciept when we checked out and we didn't get that either. The staff was very friendly and we might consider staying there again if we are ever in that area. It's a little difficult to get to if you're not familiar with that area.

Hot
The A/C was not in working order in my room. A replacement was installed which took hiurs to just get the room to a semi-cool temp. There was NO cold water in my room at all. I had to shower in VERY hot water (and remember thye room was already hot so I could not even cool off in the shower). I even had to brush my teeth with hot water. The hotel could have cared less.
