Huntsville Marriott

We were in Huntsville for a wedding receiption that was held at this same hotel we were staying at. Our rooms were very comfortable and very clean. We had a great view of the Space Museum. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

The hotel was less than I expected for a Marriott. The interior was clean, but very dated. Toilet leaked, doorhandle cover falling off, old, musty smell in room, a/c didn't cool very well. Beds comfortable and clean, but we woke up in the morning with bug bites. Didn't see any bed bugs, but some insect was biting us during the night. Hallway door slams and people talking could be heard in the room. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff wasn't familiar with [...]deals, as we were told we didn't get complimentary Internet or breakfast, and we didn't find out until check-out that they were wrong. For the money, we could have done better closer to town.

The hotel room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. I really liked the power plugs on many of the table lamps, they made recharging my computer very convenient. While I was there the key card stopped working despite keeping it alone in my back pocket away from my cell phone. This is one of my pet peeves about this kind of card access. Especially when the desk attendant implies it is your fault it stopped working. On checkout the automated system did not work correctly, after a couple of attempts I checked out in person. I was only mildly annoyed, since I did not have to wait in line. Overall a very nice stay.

took front desk three calls and fifteen minutes to tell me breakfast not included with "discount rates".......really made us feel second class............

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to make a few changes to the reservation to make us a little more comfortable at no extra charge. Breakfast wasnt included, but the cleanliness and service made up for it. We even got a call from the front desk a few minutes after we arrived-they just checked to see if all was well with the room.

The Marriott, Huntsville, AL was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was adequate space for hanging clothes. They had a small fridge available. The location was very easy to find.

The Huntsville Marriott was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the feather bed comforter and pillows. I liked the seperate room for toilet and vanity area. The location was good. It was not too far from the campus of Alabama A&M University where I was visiting for homecoming. Overall, my experience was very satisfactory.
