This chain hotel is about two miles off Interstate 65 on the commercial strip leading in to Prattville. The room was fine, although the carpeting needed repacement or cleaning, in my room. Staff was very helpful. Members of the LPGA stayed here in September 2011 when they played a tournament at the fine Robert Trent Jones golf course close-by and enjoyed it. A good choice. I would stay here again if driving to Orange Beach, Alabama.

I did have a very pleasant stay at the Jameson Inn. The Customer Service, from the desk clerk to the Housekeeping Staff, was always very kind and helpful. The only 'negative' thing about the hotel was the carpet in our room. Although vacuumed, it had a lot of stains on it.

Check in was quick, room was very nice, however , we returned to our room after dinner, and there was a barking dog next door, I waited 1/2 hour and then called down to the desk,. They waited for the guests to return for another hour and then called us back, upgraded us to a suite. They were very apologetic, said their policy states that the dog should not be left alone, I felt bad for the dog, not his fault, Pet owners should know that their pet is stressed when left in a hotel room and they are pretty thoughtless of others as well as their pets!!

Very close to interstate and had alot of food and shopping close by. Very close to golf course. Rooms were very clean and staff was friendly. The parking was pretty sparse late at night was only problem

Seems they really don't have a front office that runs things I never once saw a person at the front office to speak to about anything. I checked in late and when I left again just left the key because there was no one there to accept it.

I appreciated the hotel's interior entrance to rooms; the breakfast buffet was good, offering a nice place to work at the laptop while enjoying a hot breakfast and coffee. I had the opportunity to sit by the pool for a while, which was clean, quiet and away from the main road. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Good shopping location, we use it as a midway point from Nashville to Biloxi. It's a good place to give the kids a break. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast area before we get back on the road. Good price helps a lot.

The room I was in was spacious and pretty clean. Another family with us wasn't as pleased however. I think for the price it is a good value compared to the other hotels in the area that are more expensive. Pefect for that one night stop on the way to the beach.

After a long day driving, we were ready to relax and we arrived to find a clean, quiet room and fresh cookies. The morning breakfast was good -- make-your-own-waffles, tortillas with eggs and ham, yogurt -- several healthy choices. The woman attending the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. The only inappropriate thing was the girl who left the front desk where she was working and was seen kissing a boyfriend seated at a computer while she was supposed to be working.
