Sleepy mom
Overpriced for graduation
Paid almost double the normal price because of graduation. That's okay, I agreed to that when I reserved the room. But room only had one bed and they wanted to charge $20 per night for a cot in the room.

Close to Bryant Denny Stadium, and Bear Bryant Museum, maybe a 15 minute drive without heavy traffic. Game days expect 30-45 minutes!

Pet Traveler
If you travel with pets, look elsewhere.
They accept pets but they REALLY GOUGE you on a pet fee--$75 non-refundable, RIDICULOUS! The saving grace for this motel is that it is nearly brand new. The queen (we wanted a king) was rather uncomfortable. Convenient location. Front desk help did not seem very experienced. One young lady was being visited by her boyfriend while she was on duty--not very professional.

The Mexican restaurant about 1/2 mile north on McFarland is inexpensive--you will get what you pay for. If you want Mexican, look further.

Pretty&Petite
A few quirks, but overall excellent stay
The hotel is very nice and clean and the rooms are excellent. There were a few quirks though. When I first arrived, my smoke alarm went off in my room. There was obviously something burning ( you could smell it) but it just wasnt in my room. Staff quickly moved me to another room. Everything in the next room was fine, but on my last night there, I saw this HUGE waterbug walk down my wall! I almost decided to pack up and sleep in my car! I am extremely afraid of bugs but did muster up enough courage to kill it. I swear it had to have been like 2 or 3 inches long! I was on the ground floor near the pool though. Other than that, it was fine. I would stay there again. Their snack area is based on the honor system. You can charge snacks to your room or just slip cash in the slot for items. I like that option. Very convenient to malls, restaurants, UA.
