Days Inn Suites Tuscaloosa - University of Alabama

Our experience was for the most part good, we didn't feel comfortable in the shower due to mildew in the cracks of the tile. Other than that the stay was nice, and location was excellent for dinner, and other necessities. Overall it was not bad for staying one night while traveling through town, I would stay here again.

This hotel did NOT deliver on reservation. Once there, we don't have what was promised as far as beds. To compensate, the hotel offered some blankets so that one of the family could sleep on the floor. Naturally, we canceled and left. Two days later, I checked my debit account and had been charged the room! Book at your own risk!

Great value for the money. Clean rooms, simple but free breakfast and friendly staff.

Wish they had a gym, or an outside pool. The guy at the front desk was not very customer friendly.

The room was very clean except for the shower curtain. It had some mildew on it. Other than that it was very clean. It was noise due to some rude guests but that isn't the hotels falt. I was a nice room and fast check in. All we had to do was sign a paper and that was it! Thanks so much!

I was very disapointed. Tried to change our room from one bed to two and was unable. The hotel refused because I used Orbitz and Orbitz wanted to charge me a $25.oo fee to change. Girl at the front desk was trying to help, but didn't have the authorization to do anything and the manager was not around. There were several cars in the parking lot with people smoking and drinking beer and leaving their mess. Overall, horrible experience.

The hotel staff and room was great. The only problem I had was the internet did not work. Other than that everything else was great

It was what I expected for the price, only thing is that the front desk told me that I got it cheap, I wouldnt pay any more than I did for the room. It was clean though.

We chose this hotel based on price and relative proximity to U of A as we were visiting the area to check out the university. Check-in was fast and efficient and we were offered detailed directions to the university and any other area information we requested. This hotel is near multiple restaurants and shopping (Sam's/Walmart parking lot is adjacent and an easy walk) with many more options available in the approx 3 mile stretch of McFarland (main intersection just west of the hotel) heading north toward the U of A campus. Our room was clean and everything worked (microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, TV, alarm clock). Phone books and area information was provided in the room as well as in the hotel lobby. The hotel pool is very warm and quite small (no lap swimming here!) but we enjoyed a little unwind time in it during the evening of our arrival. Breakfast was basic (hot/cold cereals, fruit, donuts, packaged muffins, coffee and tea) but adequate for our needs. This was basically everything we wanted - one of the more inexpensive options in the area but clean, friendly and safe.
