Masters Inn, McFarland Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL
We were in town for the Alabama football game on Labor Day Weekend. We had stayed at the Masters Inn before and it is a plain basic motel on our previous stays there. This time we had plastic sheets under the sheets and it didn't take long to figure out why it was there. On our second night there we discovered a few large and skinny brown bugs on the sheets. I discovered them after returning from the bathroom. I will pay double the Masters Inn rate at another hotel in Tuscaloosa next time we visit. This place is a dump.

Home Visit
I did not receive a daily change/fresh towels or bedding. I got fresh towels about every other day and the bedding was not changed for nearly a week.

Awsome price & ok accommodation
This hotel was an amazing price and a good place to crash after the game. The only thing a 4-5 star would have had different is different carpet. The hotel had a great location, fridge, and microwave. So, best room for an amazing price

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
kinda scarry...location was not the best for 2 single women. Did not feel secure with the type of locks on the door and the door would not close all the way. There were no coffee pot in the room and the office was across the parking lot where you had to go if you wanted coffee. When I went to get coffee at 9:00 a.m. there were two ladies sitting there behind the counter chatting with a man and no coffee was made. One of the ladies did jump up to make coffee when I asked her about coffee and she was very nice but I would not recommend or stay there again without my husband and not even then unless that was the only available hotel. When you call for Pizza and they tell you they will not deliver there after 5:00 p.m. that should tell you something.

one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed
first they didn't have the reservation, they called you to get it. They were nice at the office. The room was dirty, crumbs on the floor by the fridge and on the fridge, sheets were clean, but stained and in very tired shape. I went to a store and bought my own sheets and pillow cases and blanket to sleep with. Everything was extremely tired, ill kept and worse than places I've stayed in third world countries. And to think it cost over 100 dollars a night! Unbeliveable! Another couple there had no running water in the sink..the experience was disgusting..if we could have gone somewhere else we would have..but everything was booked.

TERRIBLE STAY
I am usually not a complainer, but I can't let this one go. $120 a night for a nasty old room that made me shiver with disgust. Ratty old blankets and bed spread. The sheets were scratchy and paper thin. There was a nasty gummy substance on the spread. The bathroom was old and dirty looking. The towels were worn. When we got back to our room for the second night, we were met with an UNCLEAN room...no house keeping. The next morning we asked for clean towels and THEY HAD NONE. I honestly considered driving home 4 hours at 2 am instead of staying another night there, but we were just too tired. Because the place was so nasty, I sat in the car as soon as I could on departure day while everyone else got ready. Highway robbery for a dump to see our football team play! I will sleep in the car before I would stay there again! My husband's back aches from the awful mattress. I just reviewed this with my husband, and sadly I am NOT exaggerating!
