Gameday

Best deal for a gameday. Located near all the other hotels and ample amenities and comfort when needing a place to stay while in town. Beats all the overpriced hotels and just as good. Room is actually pretty nice with a fridge.

Tuscaloosa Ramada

The staff was wonderful. We arrived early and were able to get right into our room. However, once in our room, it had a really bad smell..just moldy/musty/damp smell. The bathroom was small, outdated tv. I believe the smell was coming from the A/C, which seemed to be leaking. It was ok for one night, but if I had needed a multiple night stay, I would have requested another room.

Showing it's age

I took my daughter to look at UA for college and it's about 10 minutes from campus (very easy). The room needed new paint years ago and it was a little run down so the the cost per night was questionable. It was a huge football weekend and the only room available in town so I gladly paid so I didn't have to drive back and forth from Birmingham, an hour drive. Staff was extremely friendly.

Tuscaloosa stay- 7/7/10 (Howard) 1 night

My stay was nice. The room smelled like fresh paint. So that was kind of annoying. The room was comfortable as far as the air conditioning. Was only in town for one night, as this was a great location for shopping and dinning. I would recommend it to a friend.

The good, the bad and the ugly!

This hotel is in a great location. However, the room had an unusual smell, the shower and sink had no water presure. When we went down to eat breakfast, they had no orange juice available there were breakfast items not available as per the desk clerk. For the price, it was a very disappointing experience.

No Way to Stay

Despite request for a non-smoking room (even made direct contact with the hotel) upon arrival was told that only a smoking room was available. I checked the room to see if I could tolerate it... ugh! Not only was the smoke unbearable the room looked dingy and unkemp. I wouldn't even recommend this hotel to a chain smoker.
