Good location, friendly night clerk, they do have security, decent rooms, wi-fi was hit and miss, very nice tv, mediocre continental breakfast, we got our moving truck stuck in the parking lot and the hotel staff laughed at our frustration while hotel patrons helped out by moving their vehicles

Room was clean, fairly quiet. not bad for the price. not a 4 star but ok.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. This motel was a good find for the money. Good breakfast selection.

The first room had a broken shower wouldnt turn on at all, staff moved us to a new room. Neitehr room was clean but at 48 bucks a night thats to be expected I guess. Atleast the staff was very nice.

Just stayed there a night and the staff was friendly and everything was in order.

It was a lovely location lots of places to eat out at in all ranges from fast food to sit down dinning. Staff was very friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable.

The staff is very accommodating. Plenty of shopping areas close by if you forget anything. Location is great but construction in the intersection area can make finding the driveway into the hotel interesting. You may want to take your own pillow. There are many on the bed, it looks great, but finding one that's truly comfortable was difficult. This was not my first time to stay here and will definitely not be my last. I will be back!

The hotel was in a perfect location for jumping on 630 to go shopping. I enjoyed the central location and will come back to stay.

My husband and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday. The breakfasts varied a little bit each day, and we enjoyed the selection. The only thing we were disappointed in was that there are only ovens in some of the rooms.

ok, nothing memoborable, small quiet hotel. was not easy to find from directions provided.

The only complaint I have is I was informed at the front desk that I would not receive my Reward Points for the first 3 nights because I booked my stay through Orbitz. I have sent a request to Windam to verify this, and if this is true, then I will not stay there again. But was very pleased with the hotel overall.

We really enjoyed the breakfasts, they were great!! The staff was kind, friendly, helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to others. The room was comfortable and clean.

The room was sufficient but whole facility had a musty smell. Breakfast was ok but on the second morning the juice machine was out of order and when I asked for salt, they were out.

Candlewood Suites is somewhat of a Diamond inthe rough... Located in a easy access area to local interstates in West LR, I was very pleased with the ease of my commute. Also, the ammenties such as the General Store on site, great local dining, a fitness center and pool make it truly a great place for an extended stay. They even offer a free DVD library for you and a DVD player in your room. Really feels more like a small apartment. The best part of this hotel is its fantastic staff. You won't find more genuine people waiting to fulfil your needs. Stay here when viting The Pebble - ( Little Rock) . Great hotel.

The bed we had was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Very quite location.

First off, what a clean, well-kept hotel with a friendly staff working the front desk. You can tell this is a new hotel, and is one of the nicest HI Express properties my wife and I have ever stayed in. They had fresh Otis Spunkmeyer cookies waiting when we got there to check in, and gave some good directions for finding some good food. (By the way, if you like good BBQ, try Corky's just off Bowman about 10 minutes up the road.) As far as the room goes, I must say the bathroom was our favorite part. Nice, earthy tones with plenty of tile, marble, and wood mixtures and fixtures. Very spacious too. There was even an additional sink outside the bathroom, along with the coffee pot (with some good coffee), a mini refrigerator, and a microwave. The 32" flat screen TV was nice (all 15 minutes or so we watched it). The room also had a digital thermostat to control your room unit, which was a nice touch as well. The only cons I could come up with was an average bed, as far as comfort goes. Could use a little more cushion for my liking, but I still slept okay. We also had an issue with a blinking security light when you come in the room, but we came in so late (probably 12:30 AM) that we didn't notice it too bad because we were so tired. We mentioned it when we checked out and the front desk girl told us other rooms had the same problems and they would look into fixing it. Overall, very nice property in a safe location with easy access to all parts of the LR area. We might stay there again when they have the Chili Cook-Off just across the road later in the year!

Stayed at this hotel on New Years Eve 2011. Hotel is in a nice location. Lobby and amenities are beautiful. Room was good. Bathroom needed some cleaning - left toilettries from prior guests and someone's weave ( Yuck). Took a while to get through to Room service but it was NYE. Food was good.

The room was very comfortable. But not a lot of parking.

The hotel caters to individuals who are going to UAMS for medical care. They go over and above what I expected. The shuttle service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was nice and very clean. The staff was freindly. Great location!

I arrived late, but had late check in approved. I was greeted and the clerk checked to see if I qualified for a better deal. I did not, but was transferred into a more convenient room with no problems. Breakfast was OK, but there was a wait for the meat.

The motel was clean and pleasant. However, it took far to long to get the hotel's folks to address the noisy guest that was playing loud music that disturbed those of us around that room.

First, the Front Desk was not opened when we arrived (6:30pm)but a staff member was summoned and came within 10 minutes. Secondly, our reservations were not held and our room selection was not available. The only option available was a 4th floor smoking allowed room. Lastly, we were told that we could move into a first floor non-smoking room the following day but we were never contacted regarding the move. Overall, we tolerated the 7 day stay because we got what we were willing to pay for ......Value Place is right!

Lets just say noisy, looks better on the outside, very rude, the list goes on.

The rooms were great, spacious and clean. The pool area was the best part of the hotel. We were a little disappointed in the breakfast area. It seemed that the hotel must have been short on help, the lady at the deak was having to handle the breakfast area and her area. We finally went out to eat breakfast, which was an added expense.

We arrived at the motel at around 7:15 pm or so. Our room was ready as we had reserved. The girl at the front desk gave me my key and asked if I needed anything else. I said not that I know of. She gave me no instructions on how to get to our room or anything else. We drove around until we figured out where our room was. We got into our room, and the carpet on the right side of the bed was wet. Also the door on the bathroom was broken. We also found a roach in the bathroom. We went to bed around 10 pm and all night there were noises in the hallway with doors being slammed all night. At 5:00 am, my companion woke up very sick. He was ill and seemed to have a stomach bug and hurting in his chest. He was hot and dressed to go outside to get some fresh air. We had noticed the night before that our pass key would not open any of the outside doors, only the front doors. When he came downstairs to go outside (Rm 351), the door beside the stairs would not open from the inside. He noticed that the door was screwed shut from the inside, making it impossible to exit the building. We were in the back of the building and the only way out was through the front. He questioned the employees there and was told that the doors are screwed shut for our safety, to keep prostitutes out at night. If there had been a fire, we and all the other guests in the motel would have been trapped with no way out. We were very, very upset. He told the security guard that he was ill and trying to get out of the building because he was going to be sick, and he couldn't get to our vehicle. The guard was biligerant, cursing at him that he didn't give a "f" to come back in and shut the door or go out and shut the door. This is not legal, to trap people inside of a building with only one exit. We are very, very, very upset about this. We packed our belongings and left at that time. We were in a very dangerous situation and didn't even realize it. We are not happy at all with our experience with this motel. The staff said that we were told this upon arrival, we were not told that we would be locked in with no way out. If we had been told that, we would not have stayed there!

Very low-rent motel. If you are trying to save some money and aren't too picky, this is the place for you! Dirty carpets, non-smoking halls and rooms smelled like a dirty ashtray, there was even an ashtray in our non-smoking room and a cigarette burn in the chair upholstery. Found a cockroach in the bathroom in the middle of the night. Left bright and early the next morning.

I stayed two nights and the hotel was fine for the price. It was a little noisy in the mornings due to the housekeeping staff and the people above me letting their children run up and down the hall. Other than that it was ok.

Very good value. Perfect location for getting to the hospitals considering Little Rock's perpetual construction on 635. Back roads and surface street easy to access. Staff was very helpful. Great breakfast. Room is dated but for a nights sleep it is fine. Will stay here again.

Was driving through the state and had to spend a night. Booked the hotel a few hours before. Had a little bit of trouble finding it off the freeway but once I found it, it was fine. No frills, mostly clean and tidy and very nice service. Breakfast was fine, waffles were good.

Upon walking in the door, I find a man putting his arms through the armholes (as if he had it off before I arrived). He turned off the roaring fan so he could hear me. Only speaking what he HAD to say to me, he gave me the room key. Roaches at least 2 inches long were crawling on the walkway, even more came out at night. The bathroom looked as if it had NEVER been cleaned, the tub was filthy and DIRTY towels with stains hung on the wall. The final blow: THERE WERE EITHER FLEAS OR BEDBUGS IN MY BED!!!! The only good thing about it was I only stayed 1 night. I will never stay at another Motel 6, sorry to say.

The floors were not vacumed. The shower curtain was not installed properly. I would not stay here again even though the rates are great.

The rates are lower than most places and it's fairly obvious why. It wasn't luxurious inside but it was furnished for extended stays. I only used it for a couple nights and it was perfect for that(read: affordable). It's in a good shopping area but it's a little tucked away off the main road so don't leave your valuables in your car(there are signs that say that much). Also, one of my major concerns were that the cleanliness of the bedding and linens were a little questionable.

The walls are thin, you could here the people next door and coming down the stairs. Its good just for resting and moving on.

We chose this location because it was the cheapest we could find and boy do you get what you pay for. The staff was pleasant but not affable. The room was clean but sparse. The towels were scratchy and thin. I think they should probably have been retired during the great depression. The hot water never really got hot, and I had to run around under the water saving shower head to get wet. At least the exercise helped me warm up. The Heat/AC wall unit did perform quite well though. As for the location, the area looked a little sketchy, but we had no problems during our 2 night stay. There is a convenience store well located on the adjacent property. There is plenty to eat and do within 10-15 minutes of the hotel. All in all it was exactly what we paid for. If you or your wife are not accustomed to construction worker accommodations keep looking. However, if you want no thrills cheap shelter for an evening this will do just fine.

The Studio Plus is not what it was when it first opened. I could not see any upkeep in all those years. The carpet looked as if it was the pad instead of carpeting. It was a scareeeeey experience. Location was excellent.

The hotel room was gross. There were blood stains on the comforter that looked like it was purchased in 1980. There was water damage in the ceiling above the bathtub and around the bottom of the bathtub that looked like it was molding. There was also some red stuff dried up on the tiles around the bathtub. The towels were clean but were dingy like they had been through too many washes. With so many people washing themselves with the same towels there comes a point when the hotels should just throw the towels out. The pillow cases also had stains on them that look oil based so basically the people who clean the hotel aren't really cleaning the rooms, they're just covering up the messes. I also requested a smoking room and was given a non-smoking room and the security doors that were supposed to remain closed at all times for our safety were kept open by door stoppers.

You won't get any sleep do to train horn on night.

The staff was unfriendly- It is not American run. The room, though clean was lacking in amenities, the light over the vanity was out and the TV had very few channels. It does have Wi-Fi, but the connection is not the best and the continental breakfast consisted of a coffe pot and a tray of about 20 donuts.

Quick in and out stay. Bed wasn't too great, but I was just looking for a cheap place to lay our head. Check-in and out was smooth.
