Welcome to the 2008-2010 Platinum Award Winning Econo Lodge University located in the heart of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our property features spacious rooms with FREE wireless high speed internet & local calls, cable TV, and in room coffee. Our 2 queen beds rooms also feature microwaves and refrigerators. Property amenities include a sparkling seasonal outdoor heated pool, Continental Breakfast and a business center. Pets are permited in designated pet rooms for an additional fee. We are located just a short walk to NAU, High Country Conference Center, Downtown and a short drive from Sedona, Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater, Walnut Canyon and the World Famous Grand Canyon. Non-smoking rooms available. Pet Accommodation: 10.00 per pet, per night. Limited U-Haul parking available.

Clean, safe room close to downtown and the observatory

The hotel was nice and clean, stocked with towels, shampoo, lotion and standard bars of soap. Beds weren't superbly comfortable, but weren't uncomfortable either. The linens were crisp and clean and the internet functioned as it was supposed to once I got the code from the girl at the front desk. She wasn't very interested in being of use to us as we checked in, but thankfully we didn't need anything beyond a room key. She was almost unfriendly and definitely unconcerned with putting forth some effort to look away from her personal laptop to be hospitable.

Avoid the boneless wings at Granny's Closet on Milton. They were awful, mostly breading, and the flavoring was ridiculously off and just unappealing. Their regular wings looked good though.

Noise Factor

The hotel had more noise fromt he street than I liked. Also, the beds were hard to sleep on. I was, however, clean.

Good value

The EconoLodge is a good value. Not a luxury hotel but clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. That;s what we were looking for and it's what we found here. The breakfast was minimal but, again, adequate for us. They could use a few more tables for the breakfast area.

disappointed w/this hotel

The beds were full size, not queen. While the heater worked, it was located directly below the window. When the heater was active, the fan blew the curtains open. Finally, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was very loud and shook the entire room.

Good for simple night stay

The room was nice and clean and had all the needed items. I would recommend to the ordinary traveler who is looking for a good place cheap

Good hotel for a night

The hotel was nice, good location and clean. Only problem was that there was no room to have breakfast. The lobby is small so there were not enough chairs.. Overall good value

Good room for the price

We were in Flagstaff to attend a concert of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and stayed only overnight stay. The room was small (about what you would expect for the price) but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was simple but ample. The free Wifi worked great. It snowed eight to ten inches overnight but the parking lot was plowed by the time we wanted to leave. We would stay here again.

Flagstaff Econo Lodge

The motel was located close to the NAU campus. The Econo Lodge was VERY clean and well-maintained.
