Great place to stay
I had reserved a room for me and my two brothers for one night. The staff was so nice and pleasant. Our room was big and roomy had a great nights rest! If I go again to the Grand Canyon I will stay here again!

Hotel is clean, people friendly, expensive for the type of hotel.

Very expensive for what you get
Any hotel in Tusayan has a good location, being in the entrance of the Grand Canyon. This said, this hotel did not offer anything else that a decent room. I mean not only breakfast is not included, but you have to go somewhere else to get anything else than a coffee! That for a very expensive price, so I would recommend to look for some of the lodges inside the park instead. Services at Tusayan are very bad (expensive and low quality restaurants, all at the very same highway)

Old, smelly and overpriced
There is only one good thing about this place - its location - just a couple miles from the park entrance. Everything else was a disappointment - this place is hardly even on par with motel 6 yet it costs 3 times more. Built in 60s, I don't think they have since replaced the carpet once. It stinks. They used to advertise breakfast (at least when we booked), they no longer serve any, and no, they don't offer any refunds or coupons to compensate. I would not stay there again.

MacDonalds right across the road is surprisingly good. The Sofi's mexican place a block away is so-so.

Fantastic, only few notes
Room was perfect. Heating - very good. Stuff - knowledgeable and understanding. Location - perfect (near IMAX and entrance to the Grand Canyon park, lots of shops and cafes nearby). They gave us a room on the ground floor, near the entrance - it was perfect having 2 children and a smoking person in our family. Nice room, comfortable beds. No breakfast in hotel. tea maker - in room, microwave - only in a lobby :( Less expensive than hotels in the park. Free of charge: parking + internet.

Great option for the Grand Canyon
We stayed a couple nights just to see the Grand Canyon and didn't want to spend the money to stay in the park. The location was really convenient. The staff was quite nice and the hotel was what I expected... not 5 star but not too cheap of a hotel.
