We booked online for a king room & when we arrived, Tyler (I think) informed us that a high school band was in the larger bldg that our room was in & he thought we might be more comfortable in a quieter location on the hill. We agreed & then he told us he didn't have a king room, but could give us 2 queens. My husband said he really wanted the king, so Tyler upgraded us to a suite! Also, never saw anything when I made the reservation, but our stay included 2 full breakfast vouchers for both mornings! We loved this place & look forward to returning!

Fun in Phoenix

Everyone went out of there way to make us feel welcome. The pool was a hit with the grandkids. This area was close to the airport and shopping malls and the big city and freeway was right there.

I wish they had vending machines on each floor by the ice machine like most hotels do. It was definitely inconvenient to have to walk down to the lobby just for a bottled water! Overall a GREAT place to stay :)

perfect for the downtown Phoenix visit

The Hotel was perfect for what we were going to Phoenix for. the location cant be beat if you are attending a sporting event or something at the Phoenix Convention Center all are within a short walking distance. Our room was great and the bed was the most comfortable one we've slept in in a long time. I will stay here again for sure as well as recommend this to anyone heading to Phoenix for a getaway

Easy cab ride to hotel. Staff great. Never left hotel, but didn't feel like I was put out. Loved the room, the exercise facility, the green option, and the meeting rooms were as expected.

It was a clean hotel. Front desk is helpful with directions and where to get groceries. Even printed a map on how to get to Glendale, AZ. It was an overall ok experience. Nothing fancy but you get what you paid for.

Great room, AWFUL LOCATION

Ok so I went with my friend to Phoenix for Spring break. We're both in college so we're on a budget and were trying to save money on our hotel since we wouldn't really be there that much because we had a lot of activities planned.
The outside of the hotel looks REALLY shady and suspicious. However, the lobby is tiny and fine and the family that owns it is very friendly. We had a room with two queen sized beds. The inside of our room was great, comfortable beds and pillows, clean bedding. The walls were freshly painted and you could tell that it had been remodeled recently because it was in great condition. The toilet, sink, shower, and appliances all worked just fine so we content.
PROBLEM!
My friend and I are two college girls, (20 and 21 years old). We were located a few blocks away from downtown Phoenix and went out for a walk in the evening. We found a nice little restaurant that was hosting a swing dance night so we stuck around for that. We left at about 9:20 PM because we were tired. We were walking home down Van Buren (that big street) and a COP CAR pulls over to us. The cops roll down their window and ask us what we're doing and we tell them we're just walking back to our hotel. The COPS, okay, like actual police officers, proceeded to inform us that OUR HOTEL IS LOCATED IN A DANGEROUS PART OF TOWN AND THAT IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS FOR US TO BE WALKING AROUND THERE AFTER 8PM BECAUSE THERE WAS A LOT OF VIOLENT CRIME IN THE AREA. They insisted on giving us a ride to our hotel because they were seriously concerned about our safety.
Later that week we went on a tour to the Grand Canyon and Sedona (Really nice by the way). And I asked our tour guide, who was a grown man who had been living in Phoenix for the last 30 years, about the area by our hotel and he told us that it was indeed a bad neighborhood and that he was surprised that we were staying there, but I explained to him that we didn't know about it beforehand. He told us that he was genuinely worried about our safety and said that we shouldn't be out after it got dark and that we should take a taxi and avoid walking around there.
I am so thankful that my friend and I had all these kind people to warn us and help keep us safe. I would advise against staying in this hotel unless you are a strong adult man that can fend for yourself. Ladies, STAY AWAY!!!!! There are so many creepy weird people loitering around the area so it's really not safe. I would recommend staying at a bigger hotel like the Hyatt or something downtown. It's so not worth risking your life just to save some money

It's not what it seems

I usually choose hotels from the Choice Hotel group. I also know that Quality Inns can be inconsistent. This hotel was more on the less likeable side than others. Hotel not secure at night - back doors left open and key entry did not work.
I paid $89 per night. Minimum rate posted in the room was $49. The overall value I received was not worth what I paid.
Clerk couldn't understand that the AC unit with a thermostat would not turn off when the set temp was reached. This ultimately worked out as the unit itself was quite noisy when running.

It is a OK place to stay. Not fancy. The interiotr halls are very dark. The location is very good, close to downtown Phoenix. And the best thing of all is that they provide transportation to/from airport and courtesy transportation to downtown. This is not clearly advertized and is a good deal that can save you good money.

Hotel has been re-modeled and looks really good. The rooms are nice, but the walls a very thin and hear the next door neighbors. There are extra charges that add up if you are not careful. Park a car is $26.00 per night and they charge extra for wi-fi. The location is perfect for walking and is a safe area. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful with info. Would stay again!!

Rooms are comfortable without being extravagant. Food was good in the hotel, and there is a very nice casual restaurant (Hanny's) across the street. Easy access to the airport and to the downtown (such as it is) of Phoenix, as well as the Phoenix Art museum, the Heard museum, and state and federal courts.

Desk clerk seem bother to have customers ask a question.
My firts time there so did not know the drill to make life easy for the clerk.
Did not know enough to request a room away from the interstate.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn during a quick weekend vacation in AZ. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable and the separate living room was very nice for relaxing and watching a little TV. I appreciated the small kitchen for when I wanted to prepare meals. The hotel restaurant was average, the room service left something to be desired as they lost my order and I had to wait twice as long for my meal. Other than that, the service was friendly and the location was near the highway and easy to find. The hotel offers an airport shuttle that is WONDERFUL and really helps save time and $$. The cabs from the airport charge a minimum of $16 even if you are just going one mile!!!

I travel to Phoenix in the summer months in order to go to some WNBA games. This was the first time I decided to stay at the Radisson. The location and the front desk staff were great. The room furniture like the desk, chairs, bedding, and carpeting were very dated. But the room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. Also, the applicances in the room were new. So for the price, overall the accommodations were very adequate.

The hotel was really nice, rooms were very, very clean and the staff was wonderful. The rooftop pool was in need of some repairs but functioned. The downstairs pools were nice but only one pool was slightly heated and the waterfall feature was not working. We went to this hotel for the 2 heated pools that were advertised, so we were really disappointed but overall this is a nice hotel.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. A nice hotel, a good complimentary breakfast, a very nice pool and only 2 miles away from my office. They don't have a full restaurant/bar, but they do offer sandwiches, beer and wine. I bicycle back and forth to the office from the hotel so location is very important. I will continue to stay at this hotel.

This hotel was very easy to get to from the airport via the light rail, which is why we chose it. We also took the rail to get to a Diamondbacks game and then go back to the airport to rent our car. Staff was pleasant and recommended a Mexican restaurant that we could walk to just a couple blocks away - very tasty. It's also a couple blocks from a Safeway and our room had a fridge, which was handy for our road trip the following day. Overall a nice stay.

Very friendly staff at a hotel which is only minutes away from Phoenix airport on their free shuttle. Extremely quiet location (at least it was when I was there on a Sunday night) in a business park across from a community college. Hotel is brand new and has a substantial breakfast buffet, which is sometimes included in the price. They also serve dinner (I didn't try it). There are no other restaurants in the immediate area.

This is an older property and is in need of a fixing up. The room we had was nice, but for some reason, the mirror was mounted to the wall in a corner, behind the TV and the fridge. Really hard to use it there. It was windy one of the days we were there, and the corrugated metal roof was about to blow off, right above some parked cars. We stayed there three days and they ran out of most breakfast items early (they start serving their complimentary breakfast at 6:00 AM, and by the time we got there at 7:30, most days all they had left was toast and cereal). The location is great, directly off of I17, but it was quiet, given the closeness of the freeway. Lots of fast-food places and a Denny's within walking distance.

Awful, not a good place to walk around, lack of facilities, they offered internet access unavailable in the rooms, and continental breakfast also unavailable. I asked for a non smoking room and the only optios was a stinky smoking room.

Found this hotel to be quite nice and comfortable. Employees were always helpful and pleasant.. My only complaint is that the rooms are dimly lit and no full length mirror in room. Room was quite large, bed very comfortable. I would stay there again.

The Hyatt has the most gracious staff. Wonderful main floor bistro for inside or outside dining with wonderful staff!! A superbly stocked gift shop. The location was very conveniant for my stay. The bed was heavenly as far as comfort. The room itself could have been a bit cleaner....there was dust build up on the wall and the wallpaper had bubbled in several places. There were several dark stains in the carpet also.Other than these small problems,the room was great!!!

Stayed for 1 night. Requested a late checkout on Feb 6 and given 2pm checkout. Came back to the room at 12pm and our room key cards were already disabled and had to wait 15 min in front of the room for concierge to let us in via master key. Aside from that incident, everything went well.

Spent the weekend @ Chase Field for ballgames. The hotel was within easy walking distance of field. Rooms were comfortable with microwave & fridge for easy access. Desk staff was very friendly & helpful.

We chose this hotel for the free 'up to two weeks parking' offered on an overnight stay and free shuttle service to the airport. This all went smoothly and We would definitely do it again. The hotel is comfortable enough and everything worked but some of the room furnishings are in need of replacement; not the bed however, it was a sleep number style and very comfortable. All in all a good value, especially the parking.

Overall, the hotel is good. But I didn't like the location of the kingbed. The kingbed faces to the balcony. I felt cold and uncomfortable.
