Clean and friendly, NOT!!!

Upon our arrival the person working the front counter during our check in was rude and short with me and any ans all questions I had, but that can be over looked. Everyone is entitled to a bad day once in a while. We enter our room which wasn't amazing, but for the price paid it was adequate and SEEMED to clean. We left for dinner, and when we returned to the room to turn in for the night pulled back the blankets to fins two cigarette butts and 35¢ in our sheets. That was when we knew the linens weren't changed and we would never stay at this hotel again.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Don't stay at this hotel, but if you stay in the phoenix area the first friday of every month the bars and clubs downtown have great specials and freebies out in the blocked off streets. It was a lot of fun.

Satisfied

Although the hotel was far from the airport I had no problem getting there. I was driving and had a GPS. I really like the accommodation, room with microvwave, Wireless Internet connection and continental breakfast. In all, my wife and I were satisfied

dissappointing

We have stayed at other Days Inn motels, and they were deserving of the 2-star rating; this one was not---the lobby was very nice, the breakfast also nice, the outside surrounds and inside our room needed major repairs and remodeling----I awould have given it 1 star, only---we made do and just tried to ignore the shabbiness and got along fine for what it was simply because I'm a positive person

In need of some TLC

This is an older property and is in need of a fixing up. The room we had was nice, but for some reason, the mirror was mounted to the wall in a corner, behind the TV and the fridge. Really hard to use it there. It was windy one of the days we were there, and the corrugated metal roof was about to blow off, right above some parked cars. We stayed there three days and they ran out of most breakfast items early (they start serving their complimentary breakfast at 6:00 AM, and by the time we got there at 7:30, most days all they had left was toast and cereal). The location is great, directly off of I17, but it was quiet, given the closeness of the freeway. Lots of fast-food places and a Denny's within walking distance.

Just O.K

Hotel was conveniently located next to I 17 but there was some work being done to the street which made for a lot of traffic jams and made it difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. The day shift staff was not friendly at all. When we checked in the entire staff was taking a smoke break at the same time. I had a non-smoking room but it didn't smell like it. The security doors did not work and the place was not well lit on the exterior. The pool heat was not working but the hot tub was enjoyable.

What a Dump!

This place is filthy! Metal Roof peeling~ceiling in hotel room rotting. Tub did not drain~water up to ankles. No Iron Glass door to building was shattered and taped over. In the morning I was greeted with~" Breakfast is OVER in 10 min." ~Lost appetite Air conditioners from the outside looked smashed and in disrepair. Dirty Blankets. *I have requested my money back~only solution to this awful one night stay!

You get what you pay for.

It served it's purpose. We needed a place to sleep for a few nights, and didn't want to pay a lot...... that's what we got.... was older, but sufficient for our needs. Bath was a bit cramped as door to bath actually scraped on the toilet seat as it opened.
