Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport North

The hotel was average. I expected something nicer for $166 a night even at a special [...]rate... it was a 3 star at best in my experience of travels... But, if you're looking for clean, conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport and a good bed to sleep in overnight - and of course if you don't mnind spending too much money for average.. this is your place :-) The bed had a level of hardness to select from - not a sleep number bed but close.

This was a one nite stay, arriving about 5:00 PM and departing the next morning for a return flite from Phoenix airport. We had dinner at the Hilton (I booked two rooms, as we traveled with another couple)and it was very good. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful...desk, restaurant, wake up call...all points of contact. Nice job. The only negative was a noisy air conditioner. Central air is much more quiet than the individual units. Sleep is critical when traveling..this was the weak point.

nice ourdoor pool, convient from airport shuttle, (10 min) excellent breakfast buffet,nice bar and dinning area. Great maid service. New modern decor.

Brief business overnight stay

Very friendly staff at a hotel which is only minutes away from Phoenix airport on their free shuttle. Extremely quiet location (at least it was when I was there on a Sunday night) in a business park across from a community college. Hotel is brand new and has a substantial breakfast buffet, which is sometimes included in the price. They also serve dinner (I didn't try it). There are no other restaurants in the immediate area.

The questionable location. However, I never for one moment felt unsafe. The new hotel is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and quite helpful. The rooms were spacious and accommodating, with fantastic beds and pillows and microwave and refrigerator. I needed to keep my medicine in a freezer area which the refrig did not have but the staff made arrangements for me in their food center. Shuttle Service was great and the driver was very friendly and made sure we were offered coffee or tea to take with us to the airport. I would return there any time and would have liked to use their fitness center and pool if I had a longer stay. Give it a try and don't forget to try Bill Johnson's Big Apple restaurant, a place that has been a legend in Phoenix for years and located just across the road. This hotel is a good start to revitalizing this part of town. Good luck to them.

Helpful staff, assisted with late check in. Friendly shuttle drivers who went out of their way to make us comfortable and the trip easy.

When I stay at a Hilton hotel, I have grown to expect the best in everything. This hotel was a total disappointment. At check-in, I was ignored while the staff ordered pizza. The staff member continued on the phone speaking rudely to a guest requesting transportation from the airport while he checked me in. A decision was made to eat in the hotel resturant. Only one word to describe the food...Horrible. I was served burnt salmon. A steak was also ordered. It came out undercooked, sent back to the kitchen, then returned microwaved to death.Only thing positive about the resturant was the very nice waitress. Air conditioner in the room was nosiy. You can not judge a hotel by the company name. What a disappointment.

Nice place. Easy access from airport with convienent shuttle. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished.
