Overall great stay!
Good value and nice comfortable beds. The hotel is a little old and they really like to water their grass (cant walk on it), but the staff was pleasant, free breakfast, and nice pool area. I will definately be staying at this hotel again.

The pool is quite a splash
The property was nice and the pool was great. A great location for family or quiet a retreat. The price is right and the location is convenient. But I was surprised not to find an elevator.

Great locations for Spring Training
Stayed for White Sox training camp, hotel was very clean, all employees were nice and willing to help. Wish there was a frig in room. Too much CHLORINE in pool and spa. Location was good to all expressways. Had a great time.

Reasonable place to stay
Average accomodations, good value considering you get breakfast, clean, older and could use some sprucing up. Seemed like a few people may have been living there. Had one problem upon arrival, but front desk took care of immediately. Very friendly staff.

No curtains
There was only one thing that really ruined this hotel, and that night for me. There were no curtains! There was one of those sheer white things hanging in front of the window, but nothing else to provide any sort of privacy. Plus the fact that they had a ton of lighting down the hallway outside our door, and one of those lights happened to be pointed right in on our pillows.......all night. Good breakfast, friendly staff, but after a night of no sleep it doesn't really matter.

LA QUINTA INN NORTH PHOENIX
LOCATION WAS GOOD AS IT WAS CLOSE TO THE I-17 FREEWAY. BREAKFAST WAS SO-SO. THERE WAS ALWAYS MORE PEOPLE AT BREAKFAST THAN THERE WERE TABLES FOR THEM TO SIT AT. THE TOILET SEAT WAS SO SMALL, I HADN'T SEEN SOMETHING LIKE IT SINCE THE 1960'S. I HAD TO WASH OFF THE TV SCREEN SO THAT I COULD SEE THE PICTURE. QUITE NEIGHBOR HOOD. HOWEVER THE INN DOES ALLOW PETS.

perfect for me
This trip was just an over night stay on a turnaround business trip. This is my second stay at this particular LaQuinta and I have stayed at the LaQuinta on Thomas in Phoenix and was just as pleased. LaQuinta is fast becoming my hotel of choice when traveling. Rooms are always clean, staff is always courteous no matter how late I arrive. The amenities in the room such as microwave and refrigerator are deeply appreciated as I get very tired of eating out and to be able to just nuke something simple is awesome. Keep up the good work LaQuinta!
