Needs help...
Check-in went fine...Location was great...Rm was quite small, though the bathroom was nice...Go figure...Pool was unavailable, which I feel Or.b.t.z should have known, and warned us about...Also, they charge a $20 p/night 'resort fee'...For what?!?!? Doubt that I would return to the Hyatt...Better places/values are out there...

Getaway
Other than our poor experience at the check in counter, our overall feel was this worked well for us. Location of restaurants close by, and amenities at the hotel, including the fire pit close by made for a fun stay

great get away and recovery from another sedona property
After spending a night at another sedona property that wasn't up to snuff, we checked into the Hyatt. From check in to check out everything was a-ok! As a bouns we got to see the wild havelinos come through the property to visit early one morning. A great stay and lovely views.

Very average
Fabulous location with excellent staff. The bed was worse than a Motel 6, and the sheets did not fit so they kept coming off the mattress. As I said, ridiculously bad. The paper thin walls did not keep out the screeching and screaming of the 9 kids in the room next door. Not much going here for the top of the market room cost.

Nice amenities
The pool and hot tubs were very nice. The location is great and walkable to many stores. The hotel described the room as sleeping four, but it could only sleep three adults comfortably in my opinion.

Great family hotel & great value!
The sunset viewed from the pool & hot tube area was terrific. The staff were very friendly and helpful (scheduled some of the last places on the Pink Jeep tour - loved by the whole family). They had a free exhibit in the evening of a native american flute player - Wolf Robe. Again, very much enjoyed by the family. The 1 bedroom condo was large and comfortably accomodated all of us.

"Great location, beautiful views"
The Hyatt Pinon resort was in a great location to explore Sedona. All of the major shopping areas were nearby and walking distance. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing escapes from long days of walking and sightseeing. The rooms were clean, but not spotless. There were stains on the couch cushion and carpet. Our bed was made each day of our four night stay, but the linen was never changed. Even though their website generically states that a DVD player is one of their accomodations, their isn't one available for suites. Never-the-less, they accomodated us with a portable one after we called and requested it. There was no additional charge.

Shopping tip:
Not Applicable
Sedona is pretty much a tourist mecca. There main sale items are clothing, jewelery and art. After a long day of shopping, we came to realize that we could have stopped in one store and got all we needed without dragging ourselves through every other store. Never-the-less, it was still fun to roam around the town.
