Great weekend

RIVERPARK INN

The Riverpark Inn is a full-service AAA 3 Diamond newly renovated hotel with 174 rooms including 5 suites and 31 first floor mini-suites with patios in a lush resort-like setting with mountain views in downtown Tucson within walking distance of the Convention Center and minutes from the University of Arizona.

I was very disappointed that after three nights sheet and pillow cases had not been changed. Sheets had holes in them. Dried food on blanket. No clean glasses one day. Parking lot trashy during entire stay. Person in charge of breakfast buffet was rude.

Could have been better

when we arrived at our room, the tub was extremely dirty. we called, and the room was changed immediately. the new room was better, but the door was not aligned correctly, so we had to slam the door loudly. at 2 a.m., I'm sure our neighbors did not appreciate that. the breakfast was ok, but could have benefited by fresh fruit, etc. I will not stay there again.

Good value

The hotel needs to update their web site there is no reastaurant, there is a lobby area that they use for drinks and light snacks after 5:00 pm. It appears that they are trying to revovate the hotel back to a resort, but for now it is just a place to sleep

Better than expected

For the money you cannot beat this place. Room was clean. Locaton very good, Its old, but not too bad. Breakfast better than most 2 or 3 star hotels

2nd chance-2nd failure

With the hotel nearly empty after a big city event, I couldn't believe they put me in a room that had the tv cable coming through the sliding door which prevented the door from locking OR even closing! Beyond tacky! No attempt to fix the heater when I complained about the cold air blowing in and no offer to compensate me. Breakfast was ok, but the cook was late in getting things out and had a bad attitude. AGAIN. Apparently this hotel is not interested in repeat business. WAY BELOW STANDARDS!

nice, clean, cozy

stayed here for 12 nights. except for some construction workers being really rudely loud at 7:30 AM the first morning i woke up, it was nice, cozy and quiet. if you stay here in january, be prepared to see tents going up all over the property- they are preparing for the gem and mineral show... it was very clean, and my queen sized bed was absurdly comfy. the heat worked well..the only slightly weird thing about the room i stayed in was that one of the walls was all glass/a sliding door that opened directly onto the courtyard. when people walked by, it was very loud. people did not walk by often, though. location is great if you have a car- 10 min drive from downtown/4th ave.

Arizona Riverpark Inn

The room and staff were great. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. The breakfast was really good and you can make your own waffles.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Kartchner Caverns State Park was a wonderful experience. To see the inside of a cave in all it's beauty is something I will remember for a lifetime.

Overnight trip

Not what I expected for $70.00. No trash Liners in the trash cans, floor in bathroom was not up to par, dirt/hair in corners near the bathtub, when opening door to patio there was a million cigarette butts on the ground along with a plastic bag that had something hairy in it. NOOO Way was I going to pick it up. It very well could have been a dead animal. The remote control did not work.
